@TheMoose201 older VW's don't have a frame so it is not c notched, I heard people notch their torsion plates however but I reinforce them if you are going that route. you dont want anything to fuck up going 60+ on the freeway

Sitting in your garage? Get it running and drivable first and then look up Franklins VW Werks for custom suspension parts that'll get it laying low. When you've got it low yet still drivable then look up Airkewld. Franklins has top quality lowering parts while Airkewld mainly focuses on air suspension systems for VWs. Combine the two and you've got the best system money can buy. Or you can pinch pennys, do it ghetto style and hope you don't blow your system on the freeway at 65mph.

Those airbags cost thousands of dollars. You can get a set of dropped spindles for ~200 and permanently slam the front, plus maybe a set of 135-145 tires and a narrowed adjustable beam.

Hey man! VW's are collectors items now, and not very easy to find. Around here even a non running one (in relitivly good shape) will catch 2000, to 2500 bucks! You can expect to pay as much as 10 for a rully restored one! Or you can do what i did, and buy a junkyard one (in fixalble condition) for about 500, then fix it up!

I was always told that 1970/71 was a tansition, in 1970/71 you could get the super, or non-super. Anything after was a super. Dictated by the type of suspension it had (the super had Mcpherson struts, while the non-super had tortions). In any case, i like the older bugs better.

soooo whats the difference in having a lowrider, then when you park it you dump the bags and set it on the ground, or you drag it, both things that look cool. lifting a truck with bags makes it so you can ride around with better aerodynamics, and pass the lift laws in some states, then when you park it, you can jack it up....or when you go off road, to get more clearance.....sooo actually, a lowered truck with bags would be more pointless......although id like to have either, i just love bags

In the video it neon pink and white. lol.... not red. I never finished the car I got offere a fair amount of money right before paint so I sold it. No you dont just get 1 5 gal tank and it fit prefect behing the rear seat in luggage area.
