  • Nas

  • this is fuckin produced by eminem 4 those who didnt kno!

  • 6 people are Athiest

  • This isn't even worth a comment and yes... I am one of the 6.

  • @tomdebash fail

  • u can tell eminem made this beat

  • @XxplosiveAM imma smack da shit out of you

  • @420conejo420 whaatt why

  • nas is definately a titan in the game. with that said nas ate jay z up on ether, but when jay dropped the blueprint 2 (the song not the whole album) he put nas to bed. so for yall that dont know listen to the blueprint 2 then come back and drop dem thumbs

  • @superduperfly3 I heard that song and to me it's more Jay bitching and crying. He's all like "look at me, I give money to charity bla bla bla". Nothing in that song is as stinging as Ether. That's what some people don't get about a diss song. It doesn't have to be truthful to be effective, it just has to hit the other person where it hurts. That's why Ether was so effective. Nas was basically playing the dozens with that song.

  • I'm NASty, let gas from my fat man intestine i pass it you gaspin for breath and you DIE-FAST..But im like a GASTRICBYPASS, but of Nas advocates ACTORS, seem to get TYPECAST, in the same roles...GOAT.

  • Beefing with Nas and Tupac - Knowing the kind of rapper that Jay-Z is he would love to claim victory to satisfy his ego, but there was no victory there. He lost when he went up against Pac and he lost when he went up against Nas though. You gotta respect Jay's guts though. Bottom line.

  • The dumbest career move Jay-Z ever made was trying to beef with Tupac and intervene on BIG's behalf. Pac had so much energy, so much intensity, so much rage, and so much enthusiasm that he just smoked Jay-Z every time Jay-Z went at him. That was one of the dumbest career moves Jay ever made. It was one of the biggest mismatches ever. Here's this BK one classic Hip-Hop CD in trying to come to the aid of the Notorious BIG by dissing Pac, and Pac totally annihilates his ass!

  • Nas carried the cross way before Jay-Z, BIG, Pun or Lil Wayne carried the cross. He carried the cross in 1994 with his debut CD Illmatic at a time when Hip-Hop needed somebody to carry the Cross, because the Bridge Wars had just ended and Queens was looking for a new leader of Hip-Hop. Nas turned out to be that leader. Nas stepped up and carried the cross after the Bridge Wars ended and really was the first mainstream rapper in the 90s to put New York on the map.

  • @lildwayne21 They will always give that honor to Big even though Real heads know wassup.

  • y we dont have a nas and eminem song yet

  • Did Eminem Produce that?? It sounds like it

  • @chopz601 Indeed he did and he did a hell of a job too. This is one of Em's best beats ever. Em learned to produce beats from the best. Dr.; Dre & Scott Storch. He has a PHD in good beat making.

  • Nas killed this fucking track.. Just to show how much Jay-Z is a dickrider to Nas he went and got Em to do a track for him the following year just cause of this. Whats crazy is the beat really ain't nothing special but the Lyrics are just to harsh. This whole Album Nas using different flows for every track just to prove Jay wrong about him not switching up his flow. Nas - Living Legend.

  • @SDSOverfiend Jay's biggest problem is thinking that he could trade bars with Nas. Let me tell you something. Jay-Z is a talented rapper, one of the greatest of all time, but there are very few rappers who can trade bars with Nas & win. Jay-Z found that out the hard way when Nas Ethered his ass. Now Jay-Z can try to front all he wants by trying to say he won or the fans won, because it was good for Hip-Hop, but deep down inside his arrogant inside he knows that he got his ass whipped by Nas!

  • @SDSOverfiend Jay-Z is never going to admit to defeat. He's not humble enough to admit defeat. I mean, we're talking a raper so arrogant that he hardly thanks anybody anymore when he puts out his CDs, because of how big his ego is.

  • muhit6jhy egkrogt5kokorkoroko

  • yall no he is king

  • nas is beast

  • 5 people are Mary

  • ridiculous shit. fucking amazing.

  • OMG HOW GOOD THIS WILL BE IF EMINEM HAD A VERSE

  • Comment removed

  • @slimshadyeminemmathe No shit? You're an Eminem stan i can tell i bet you only like this song because Em produced it.

  • @slimshadyeminemmathe if your only here cause eminem produced it, go get fucked

  • @thechemical96 @The12Jacob

haha fuck u, yea i do love eminem but i own 4 Nas albums so suck it

  • @slimshadyeminemmathe Spoken Like a true dickrider...

  • @SDSOverfiend so ur sayin that im a dickrider just cuz i listen to em and nas?

    haha what a dumbass

  • @InfamousAct just cuz Eminem is white hes not a good rapper? your an idiot what kind of backwards logic is that. I find both Nas and Eminem very relatable no matter what skin colour they are.

  • What a flow !

  • why cant people just loads all rapers!! nas is awesome

    so is eminem

    and jay-z

    and obie trice

talib kweli there is loads of them and i love them all!!!!!!

  • 5 ppl couldn't carry the cross

  • Dope and even doper lyrics... If someone said; timbaland, dre or kanye made the beat people would've been like, that's hot son but they find out em did it and here comes the hate

  • this shit rivals illmatic man.. im tellin u.. god's son is fuckin legit

  • @Whatupmaaan It's probably because both beats were produced by Em."I've made beats for Jay-Z for free, page me."~Eminem

  • i would love to hear eminem rap on this beat but i feel like pac wouldve ripped this if he was still alive..not saying nas didnt

  • Nas is my favorite rapper, but it's a shame Em couldn't spit a verse on this. I'm just imagining his voice on this record.

Shame, woulda been timeless, classic hip hop music.

  • this beat is sick

  • @smoketunes

    this beat is ugly

    garbage

  • @mrkrillin100 how can u hear this and call it garbage? that shit is raw

  • @smoketunes

    no nas is good

    very good

    -

    but this beat sucks

  • @mrkrillin100 Are you kidding, this beat is sick. Its so mean sounding, perfecting for Nas to lay down his nasty flow.

  • this sounds so much like jay z- moment of clarity. both great songs

  • I Carry the Cross. If Virgin Mary woulda had an Abortion Id still be carried in the Chariot with stampeding Horses.

  • @WhenUrGreatTheyHate i hate to sound like a idiot but what does that bar mean?

  • @Rikoshayy basically hes saying he's Godson and heaven sent. A dope way to brag i guess

  • I never knew Eminem produced this. but I also never knew that this beat got bad reviews?? I dunno about y'all, but I love this beat. And I mean for being mainly a RAPPER, one of the best rappers of all time, I respect and like all his beats. His beats aren't always so great, but they're beats where the MC takes it away. More like just a background to let the rapper shine on it. Example - Without Me, Renegades, Lose Yourself, 8 Miles and Runnin'... Just because they're simple don't make them bad.

  • Eminem doesnt produce like he used to,but he was so crazy

  • 9th wonder remix is way better

  • sick lyrics as always by nas... but this beat is lame. eminem be trollin at the start

  • Love Em's production on this. Him and Nas should collab.

  • I like the Track but Eminem's Beats sound like something he recorded for "The Eminem Show " and didn't end up using himself plus this one was one of his first selfproduced beats - it would have flashed more when Eminem wouldeve rapped back to back with Nas on this one. But Eminem said in a Interview that he was honoured to have his Idol spit on one of his beats...

  • this song blows, eminem sucks as a producer

  • virgin marey had an abortion

  • True story

    vvvvvvvvvvv

  • eminem and nas = 2pac and BIG

  • Everyone has a right to there opinion. Don't call people stupid just because they don't like something you do. THAT'S the most ignorant you can get.

  • If and IF eminem produced this song do you think that means he is better or he made this song what it is? Let me know what you mean by that! He is only liked because he talks about beatin & killin a woman that got over on him! Thats all in my book, Thats why I play him 2 see what the fuck he will say next! He is not the Greatest! You have just heard from Da GREATEST ALIVE! The other 2 are DEAD! 2PAC & BIG! That is all!

  • @InfamousAct LOLLLL WOW either ur white or under 18..

  • @InfamousAct :| praying to god you are trolling

  • @InfamousAct at last someone that i totally agree with..

  • @SaikoOner1 100 %

  • @InfamousAct you cant compare tupac to em is cause tupac is what em listened to. their both in two different eras. if eminem didnt listen to pac then he wouldnt rap the way he does now. pac and all the other rappers that em listened to is what made his music. biggie i never liked and i tink pac nas and em are better then him. but ye you cant compare pac and em cause all em had to do to be better then pac is look at what pac did wrong and improve it.

  • @tysbtw43876 thats like saying you cant compare Nas and kool g rap it doesnt matter when they were around or what they rapped about everything is comparable

  • @InfamousAct because they had the same type of music now the mainstram music makes hip hop music have like a different definition. Em is making hip hop mixed with because pop because thats the type of hip hop fans their are now. back then when pac was alive his fans were hip hop strictly. i dont think you could compare it cause its two different type of hip hop. eminem was inspired by pac to rap. the only music i would say is comparable to pac were the songs from slim shady LP

  • @tysbtw43876 How? Those songs were angry and violent and Pac was all about peace ansd love right? Thats why so many people consider him the goat right? for being so REAL. Eminem is the realest Mc I know. well one of them. and so was tupac right? so theres just one way to compare them right there

  • @InfamousAct yee but im talking about comparing their talent. you cant base their talent off of comparison like that.

  • @tysbtw43876 Ahh talent? Eminem is deffinatley more naturally talented its obvious by listeneing to his freestyles. Pac could not freestyle that well

  • @InfamousAct yee but eminem got his talent by listening to tupac and other rappers. if eminem didnt have pac to listen to he wouldnt be as talented as he is now. which is why i said yu cant compare them. eminem was inspired by pacs rap and pac was inspired by poems.

  • @tysbtw43876

He'd probably still be talented, but he would likely have a different style. Possibly a style that's awful.

I mean, honestly? Eminem post-2004 is not something I'll want to listen to. There's this huge dip in quality between what he makes now and what he made then. Compare something like "Till I Collapse" to "Not Afraid".

  • @LCWynter ok but thats yur opinion that you wouldnt listen to him at all now. i still see him as one of the most talented artist their is still even though he isnt as good as he was before. just because someone isnt as good as they used to be doesnt make them terrible.

  • @tysbtw43876

Oh, he's still excellent. He's much nicer to listen to than most modern rappers. It's just a shame that his current works have trouble living up to his earlier stuff. Like Nas, I suppose. He's never made anything better than Illmatic.

  • @LCWynter yee true. but for nas i dont think anyone has a better album then Illmatic.

  • @tysbtw43876

    Any Pharoahe Monch album

  • @LCWynter Thank You....... Em dipped in flow and cadence after 2004.

  • @InfamousAct 2pac is better than eminem biggie is better than eminem nas is better than eminem jay-z is better than eminem - ask every rapper they say pac and biggie - are better than eminem - pac raps about real stuff - eminem is a fake rapper - he lies so much in his songs never commit a crime - fuck his lyrics - he sounds so white with his lyrics - nobody in the hood - listen to this wigga eminem he sucks fuck eminem
  • Eminem as his own sound

You can tell Em produced it right after the beat starts

    He's a very underrated producer

  • eminem has the hardest beats hes one of the best prodecers. If the guy under me actually produced he would apreciate how hard it is to make your sounds that crisp and drums bang that hard and to make the piano sound like that. Em is a beast.

  • @keyc505 say this to his face

  • @keyc505 Your over doing it.. the MPC's already have a bilt in function to clean and raise levels its not that serious what he did here.

  • Em's an OK producer.

  • (N)iggers

  • this does sound like a cheesy eminem beat. his beats are so cheesy like the way he used to dress back in the day. du-rags were never meant for white guys lmao.

  • Comment removed

  • @5104560711 the cross he is talking about is symbolic as Nas carrying on traditions of hip hop and his legacy as a New York legend

  • You can tell Eminem produced this beat. Nice joint

  • 9th wonder disliked this

  • greatt song... one of his best

  • download link ?

  • Can you imagine if they had done a remix of this and Em actually spit on it with him? ooooohh.....

  • super underrated song!

  • This is phenomenal! But 1 person doesnt want to carry the cross

  • I remember when this dropped and a lot of people who had been saying Nas was washed up had to eat their words! Fucking haters. Nas never fell off, dude's always been dope.

  • sounds like eminem wrote these lyrics! still pretty good tune...

  • @trickstaboy

lmao em produced it, he didn't write the lyrics

  • @trickstaboy You should get smacked for saying Em wrote lyrics for Nas. The greatest doesn't need ghostwriters.

  • super beautiful music

  • Damn, you can tell em produced this shit sick beat, Nas kills it too.

  • Nas one of the best rappers ever

  • @WinterWolf94 THE best

  • @WinterWolf94 THE best

  • so sick!

  • @angeroid I know, but it was just wordplay :)

  • nas best song in the 2000s

  • If you reverse the part where he says nas n.a.s. spells ni**as against society it says " yea I'm the sickest, yea its satan in it". The first time i heard that mess I was like What?! This ain't no joke these CATS ain't playing... Turn to JESUS!

  • @HoneyRyder but how can it if you wrote it out and it doesnt say that??

  • @HoneyRyder Omg does that mean NAS means Niggas against society? Damn, well i guess he says it in his song. Peace and respect to nas best rapper alive and in my opinion 2nd best of all time.

  • @angeriod His name is Nasir Jones, so Nas is just a shortened version, but, he just used it for a clever abreviation, it doesn't have any hidden meaning

  • @EnuffSkater147 Yeah but he says N>A>S niggas against society.

  • Two of the best rappers alive.
