@noefin That's correct. I've come to the conclusion that if you want to really go through the balls with less topspin a ww finish will hinder it. Now, if you want to put on some excessive topspin, a ww makes sense.

how can you guys honestly know for sure whether a pro is using a racquet or not... there is no way of telling if a racquet is painted... unless you hear directly from the pro that they are using a painted racquet, there is no way of knowing for sure...

No pro in their right mind would use Youtek. Who would want a racket that changes characteristics from one shot to the next?? This is a game of inches.

The technology is very clever, for sure. But do you really want your racket to play soft sometimes and firm other times? When you rip a ball, your brain subconsciously judges the stroke based on its previous experiences hitting softer balls. Youtek is just another complication your brain has to deal with when making its reflex decisions.

For you and me it's probably fine. But for a powerful pro player, any unnatural change in the racket will have an effect on your consistency. Even if it only makes a 5 inch difference, that's a lot in tennis. .

I would bet my life that Andy Murray isn't using Youtek. And if Novak is..... well that explains a lot.
