Islip Terrace guy, again. I guess that was Hurricane Connie or Diane. I remember going with my father, not that I was much help at that age, to pump out basements.....mostly south of the Montauk.
@grazcoolguy Thanks guys, this is all about my father. I had so little to do with it but I do remember being in the back seat when we went under the fallen tree.
I appreciate all comments guys and think my father would be very pleased as well to know that his old home movies are being shared with so many.

@The26grover You really got me thinking...I can't remember the name of this Hurricane, but I'm leaning towards Diane.

@RCAdamsMG It was Diane, but neither Diane nor Connie were hurricanes when they got here. They both moved inland and became tropical storms.
