I remember back in 1986-87 opera season with the Greater Miami Opera as she sang Traviata. Unfortunately she became ill and could not continue. We did have Gianna Rolandi as a fill in. What a great instrument Christos had!

Oh my how the time has gone by. I remember our days at Duquesne University and the wonderful time and performances with Pittsburgh Opera. I still have pictures of you as Traviata. It was a true blessing having known you. Rest in peace.

How good to see a Micaela who looks like she could take on Carmen were she asked to. Stunning voice, was she still singing when she passed?

Was a lovely and BIG instrument.

No, I didn't have the pleasure. I sang at one house a year later than her; and also in the same Magic Flute production three years later. But I admired her greatly.
