He certainly inherited the Kennedy charm, good looks and intelligence - the winning combination. I think he would have run for office someday but probably wanted to wait till his Mother passed. Naturally enough.

Heartbreaking and breathtaking. He had the same humor, grace and charm as his father and mother. I think he would've entered politics eventually, what a loss for our country. The Kennedys are great public servants. I saw JFK Jr. once on Park Avenue, riding his bike, he went zipping right by me. Another woman next to me turned and we just stared at each other with smiles on our faces. I hope Teddy Jr. runs some day, he's got the gift of the Kennedy fire.

I have been thinking of John Jr lately and what a shame he left us so soon. Since you have stated that he is your family, maybe you could answer this, what ever happened to his dogs? If I'm right, they had two dogs. Were they on the plane with them? or did someone in the family take them? Again, it is a shame that all three of them left this earth so soon. Prayers go out to the family. We all miss them.

this was fantastic...

about the dogs- john only had one dog, friday. carolyn had a cat. friday did not travel with them because he did not like to fly and was too big for the cockpit. after the crash both the dog and cat were taken into the care of the kennedy butler. johns dog friday cried every night waiting for john to come home and stopped eating as well. he was eventually given to caroline kennedy and her family and lived with them.
