Are you sure the lights you see in the sky aren't Chinese lanterns? they just look like orange or yellow dots in the sky since they travel so far up....

Woww, I was leaving my mates house near the Cask and he pointed one out that was really low coming from Southcliff way towards Valley bridge then out to sea at about 2:30am this morning. It was orange and brighter than any star. My mates have been ripping the piss and someone said it been in the Evening news. What the hells going on cos this is freaky shit!!!!

i keep seeing red lights hovering above olivers mount too
...it just hangs there, higher and to the right of the war memorial but sometimes the same thing is over the castle later on a night. i've seen it over olivers mount at about 10pm from the castle path and then over the castle at about 3am.
my friend and i also saw a "flying saucer" over the castle once - lower than planes go but probably the same size as a plane and it had flashing white lights around it.
holy shit dude. im sooooo glad somebody actually had a decent enough camera to get that. question though how many did you see? estimating the direction they came from. obviously if its some sort of extra terrestrial thing you would have seen something totally different. so if somehow you could give me a brief description on what you saw, maybe it could help me sleep, lol knowing if its aliens or if it was some sort of time delay of some explosion or whatever..............thanks.
Where in the exact Scarborough location was that? (and plus I doubt those are "Chinese lanterns" - why would they be so high in the sky?)
