@d2dak87 With Bi-Wiring Yes you can still use 7.1, but with Bi-Amping you will not be able to use 7.1, it will be 5.1ch!

@lokeshch Yes i meant bi amount now I'm confused as my supplier told me I can bi amp thefront speakers using the pro logic 2 height outputs and keep the rear channels open for 7.1

The speakers I'm getting are rather expensive and will cost £200 for another pair is 7.1 really that great? Remember I'll be using games on it mostly and most games are in 7.1 now, (ps3)

Thats a big thing THX Certified receivers are basically the best you can get as far as audio quality

just wanna ask if there is such media that supports dolby prologicIIz in the market like the standard format truehd and dtsmaster? i dont think its really giving tremendous impact sound compare to the conventional 5.1/7.1 channel which i am used to or i may be uncomfortable and feels unnecessary for additional pair speakers front horizontally installed. upscaling to 1080i only? it could have been better if its up to 1080p which is more important than prologicIIz. nice amp though.thanks.
