I have the same laptop but card is without oc and i have 15-23 fps with all details on minimal and 1360x768 -.-

What program are use to show what temperature gpu you have?? and have you got notebook coling pad ??

@Demage99 I used EVGA Precision and yes I have a laptop cooling pad called "notepal" by coolermaster.

@Demage99 I actually havent tried it yet but I know for sure the cooling pad can reduce it to 3 or more and also depends on the room temperature wether it is cold or warm. In Battlefield playing with overclocked GT 330m I get the 85 degrees celsius and that is with cooling pad. I dont mind that temp. as long as it wont go 90 and above.

Can You play in medium settings? (all settings in medium)

@JLBHempGru yes you can play it on medium graphic settings but you have to turn off anti aliasing and ambient occlusion.

Champ, i have maximum performance on my setting, but I still get stuck at 405mhz clock. I tried everything, such as reinstall driver and replace with another versions, open GPU-Z while gaming and all, but still get that fucking 405. What should i do?

@mirakurumelody hello there! First of have you got the latest drivers from nvidia? and also I configured Battlefield 3 in nvidia control panel settings Power Management Mode to High Performance and also Texture filtering to High Performance and the other settings you can turn tem off such as anisotropic filtering, vsync, anti aliasing etc... also you can tweak battlefield 3 in-game settings putting them all on low @ lower resolutions. ;)

@ChampionPride2009 I have already solve this my self, but changing directory to D:, which was empty :P btw, thank for Nvidia controlpanel settings tip, it works now much better ^^

hi champ.. do you apply a method to avoid downclocking during game. in random times, my gpu core drops to 405 .. I have tried to search for some solutions but did not satisfied.. did you have such problem?

@icedLR what program are you checking this? I think that is pretty normal when your gpu is not on full load it downclocks it lower than what the gpu clocks settings are supposed to be. So when your gaming the clock sets to what it supposed to be. It happens to me as well cos I checked it on Nvidia Inspector.

@ChampionPride2009 but it causes a black screen and i have to restart my r580. You know when a benchmark test is running in fur mark, it uses the gpu clock that i have set with nvidia inspector ( which is 675 as you said). But when this downcloak happens, it won't go up to 675 mhz. It is stuck at 405.

BTW, after setting power management to "maximum performance" in nvidia control panel, it did not happen again. If it occurs again, i will let you know. Thanks for you helps..

I have basically the same Laptop but with and i5 450m, I'm actually quite impressed with how this ran on your laptop, but when I played the beta I got under 30 fps on operation metro? I'm now downloading the full game, do you have any tips on how I could improve it? Or have they made the game more playable now? BTW I already have the latest drivers.

@ShoopdaWoop265 thanks man. As we know that Beta is closed to the final game and the purpose of it is to report bugs, glitches and frame rate issues. In the retail game of Battlefield 3 all of that has been fixed. I had never encounter any bugs in the multiplayer. Also I had my gpu overclocked to 675, 1485 , 1066 (Core, Shaders, Memory) using Nvidia Inspector. Also I configured it on Nvidia Control Panel putting Power management and texture filtering to High Performance. ;)

@Demage99 25-35+fps (mostly on 29 t0 30+fps) I'll make another video though but using webcam this time. :)

@RieklinRideR ohh...mine runs terrible as well on stock gpu clock settings but the overclock helped alot adding 4-6 frames per second. You might as well try overclocking your gpu. :)
