Its a fandub that was made before the Cwi dub of S. Its just what they decided to call them instead of Pure no Kokoro (could be heart or Heart meaning soul) or Pure Hearts/Heart Crystals in Cwi. And I agree with you Neptune's voice is way too deep but aside from that this fandub is still better than Cwi.
Yeah... but what makes more sense "Pure Soul" or "Pure Heart"? I don't see how this is better than CWI. Seems about equal. This fandub has some bad voices, CWI's dub had some bad voices. CWI was inconsistant, this dub makes odd name changes. There are parts I prefer in this fandub, and parts I prefer in CWI's version.
I really don't see why everyone seems to hate CWI so much. Yeah SMS was a mess, but better than anything DIC put out. SuperS was the best dubbed season of Sailor Moon yet.
You have to remember that there was no english dub before this and i'm pretty sure that there was no english subtitled version of S yet. But I'm taking into account that this was made in 1997 with regard to me saying I think it's better than Cwi. I really meant scripting mostly but it's just my opinion; I'm not starting an argument. But I wasn't talking about which one makes more sense; I was just explaining why I think they chose that.
This is pretty good. But Neptune's voice is WAAAYY too deep. And what's this "soul" crap?
