Dear Cat, you must have the best karma in town:) You give away so much of your knowledge, that I often wonder how you make a living (as a lawyer who represents kids, I can relate, LOL!). When I saw that you had an e-book out, I knew I had to get it if only to pay you back for all you have given me in your videos and on Knitty Gritty:) let alone that I'm getting a wonderful book (so I guess I still owe you:)) Thank you!

I always do the slipping on the purl side, Then it is just knit across. Easy and fast. And it looks the same as if you did the slipping on the knit side.
I have tried your new heel but i always use the Eye of Partridge design for longer wear and less bulk are you planning on making a demo of this also? I have tried it myself i thought i would ask as it would be a very nice addition to this book.
I love how you paired the live demo with the illustrations from the ebook. It makes a very clear visual connection that I can remember when I sit down later with the written instructions.
Ha, I was just going to try and figure this out myself because it was the one thing that was keeping me from doing a tomato heel; I like slip-stitch heels. Thanks for this!
Can this type heel be done /c DPN's on cuff down sock?

I had problems the first time I tried because I had an even # of stitches. Seems to work best with an odd #.

This is great! Thanks so much for the demo. It was very helpful. BTW, what is that yarn you are using in the video? It looks luscious.

@heavenlyink1 I do indeed have that in mind as another alternative. Probably in sock #9 as all the rest are done and photographed.
