  • sometimes, i go to teldrassil to forget cataclism and remember the old times. :)

  • I DIDN'T START A NIGHT ELF -.-

  • I started a night elf in that zone in vanilla days and I spent 1 month to get lvl9 and I met a girlfriend there and she was called Shizzy ingame. What a wonderful time . When I finally reached level 12 she was lvl 55 loooool . She knew how to play and I was noob

  • Oh god.

  • My 1st toon was a NE rogue. Fell in love with the music at the 1st cut scene.

  • The old memories when I just started WoW... I was a noob but I didn't care. I was exploring the wonderful places trying to get a pet and to reach level 10. I always liked to be a night elf hunter and to explore these wonderful places but then when I got burning crusade I fell in love with Blood elves and there style. But the night elves place will be always my favorite.

  • I started my NE hunter 6 months before BC. I must had spent 2 weeks in the starting zone, not knowing what the hell I was doing. I was so amazed by this game. The music, the graphics, the zones. I met 3 other players in this area and we would be playing together for the next 2 expansions. Cata ended all that. Sure do miss them and the good times I had playing WOW.

  • I'd like to punch the faggot that ruined my ashenvale and darkshore.

You just had to fuck up your most beautiful zones.

    Fuck you blizzard

  • That moment; when you realised Teldrassil was a giant tree.

  • @noaireirei dude, so true, took me quite a while to figure it out, got it out, as I accidently fell down that tree, whoo, I fell like an eternity!..., now...I've quit wow, but I still love the story and I am well informed with some books

  • I remember when I was a naive little Nelf hunter wide eyed, thinking Teldrassil was the whole game XD man, after Cata my heart just kinda sank along with Darkshore :( Now it's no fun being a Nelf.

  • Haha add another person to the list of Rogues that fell off the branch at the far north while doing the lvl 10 Rogue quest. Such good times. :(

  • @Niyari67

XD Oh God I remember that. I actually died a bunch to that Satyr. I barely understood the game back then. Then I wanted to see the beach and jumped off the branch.

  • Step 1: insert the word "repeat" between tube and .com

    Step 2: ????

    Step 3: Profit!

  • OP is a faggot

  • oh.. :(

  • It's depressing, its a beautiful song but it makes me nostalgic

  • Song of Elune. Nostalgia. DJERJ

  • The emotion that hits when the music of these areas start <3 especially when countless great memorys fill you up :/

  • Che bella questa mi fà tornare indietro a quando ho creato il mio elfo.....grazie a chi l'hà messa

  • I remember when I first started playing WoW. This was back in BC expansion. My first character was a Night Elf Warrior and I fell in love with Teldrassil. I used to bring all of low levels to Teldrassil to quest. The music deffinately brings back memories. Even though I stopped playing Alliance and started playing a Blood Elf Rogue (For the Horde!), Teldrassil is still my favorite place in Azeroth as well as Night Elves being my favorite race. I will never forget the times I had on that tree.

  • @HaiAthenaArcane I have the same experience as you, my first character also was a night elf warrior. And nowadays I play horde but the night elf zones are my favourite places in wow.

  • @Wowmusicable Hahaha memories of open beta on good old server 7 lol. Jumping off the shadowglen tree before the final server shut down and a few short weeks later rushing home from highschool to log in and play my level 1 nightelf druid feeling badass in my white and green gear as well as my first piece of shoulder armor.. yeah heavy feelings of nostalgia right there I miss those days.

  • @Wowmusicable Same, exactly the same.

  • @HaiAthenaArcane same lol

  • I think I'm gonna cry, haha. My first character was a night elf hunter. I remember it all so clearly. Teldrassil was definitely the best place to start. There's just no place like it. I remember once I reached level 20 and got to tame a pet I ran all the way back to get a night sabre and sat there and leveled him up before going out exploring again. Everything was so exciting, so mysterious. fuck.. i miss it so much

  • 1:12 seriously the best piece of video game music ever created

  • Sounds like Archlord somehow..

  • "tears start to flow" oh man :( :(.....my first character...a night elf druid, i had never ever played a MMO before (well take that back, UO back in 1997)....i logged in and was like a total noob who didn't know what to do...the music :( :( so many memories...my heart sinks, i cant believe how much intune i am with this music...it makes me cry..i miss you...old azeroth.

  • i love the beginging song thnx so muxh for posting i was hoping someone would upload it thnx so much vry appriciated :)

  • I was 5 when I started playing this, I went to sleep and my dad took me here. I was a gnome so I thought it changed seasons, I was blown away by the beauty and the music here, and I saw the Spiders in the cave and decided to stay there...and then Wotlk came and I deleted that character, foolishly thinking you can have two Death Knights, and now Cataclysm comes and ruins everything. The Tree's look like FUNGI.

  • I loved this place! The beauty of it plus the music just tied in that magical feeling. I still visit this place (on my blood elf) and never get tired of it!

  • Whenever I hear this music I get a flashback of playing my first character through these elven areas. I was a night elf druid, and life was so free back then. I had no worries and the game was enticing, it was like living in a dream. The game was special, every moment of playing was fun. I never looked ahead of what I was doing because I was busy savouring the feeling of the present, and I enjoyed every level and every zone. The release was something surreal that is absent in the game today.

  • Hah, I still remember my NE Rogue. 2005 when I made him. I almost cried when I heard this music because it brings back so many fond memories of me questing with my best friend IRL. I remember when my brother first got into this game, he was a human warrior. I remember him discovering the Warsong Gulch BG, and the first time he got in he shouted so loud " FOR THE ALLIANCE!" and then he got killed by a lvl 19 undead warlock. It was so loud the neighborhood heard it. So, many, fucking, memories!

  • @LiqhterCA and I still remember me and my buddy playing hide and seek in durotar. Took me forever to find him! I'm glad I still have my Rank 11 NE Rogue though. I had all of his raiding gear from 2005-2007. It feels like ancient artifacts when you look at them. All I do now is go in-game, turn on the original login screen music, and look at my pretbc raiding gear. It's like finding a toy you played with as a child. R.I.P WoW. If anyone wants a PreTBC Private server, look up Project Westfall :)

  • Either Human draenei or Night elf! I still support my home city. For darnassus!

  • I will never go back to WoW, it was never the same for me after caping. My first time playing as a human warrior made me feel like a knight in medievil times. Later that feeling disappeared...

  • i also got that: 8O~ i'm inna differend world, while first time noobing around this place as a hunter,

makes the music mean a whole lot more that way !

  • By Elune, I just flashed my first day in WoW!

  • must not....cry..

  • oh sweet baby jesus the nostalgia......

  • Everyone thought I was weird for bringing my alts to Teldrassil to level, but it was the only real choice.

  • Before, it wouldn't take much for me to start playing WoW again after a long spell of not playing. Maybe I would hear a song like this, and then soon after I wouldn't be able to help myself from fantasizing about all the great things I could do in the game: fire arrows at an enemy while my trusty pet would hold aggro, lead city raids with a baffling 39 other people, hell maybe even visit some ruins to see the detailed fictional history that Blizzard put into their game. Cat. sort of ruined that.

  • @Hypnotoad582 I can still do that now, sure. But Cataclysm really made Blizzard's greed obvious. In BC and WotLK, you could sort of ignore it. But the changes Cataclysm brought forth were too drastic. A song like this only saddens me now.

  • My first character was a Night-elf Rogue, I bet i spandt like 10 hours at least reaching level 10. The exploring, the mindless herb gathering (thinking I was so fly and maxed out with 75 herblore) It's those first looks into the game that we miss, we try to relive them by making new characters. but it's just not the same when your at the point where you can level to 30 with your eyes closed. Much love to this truly amazinf and great game, but the game has also changed along the other MMO's sadly

  • @TheHipocrit Haha my first character was a NE rogue as well. Thought I was boss then I saw a guy on a tiger mount and I went o_O

  • Reminds me so much of The Lord of the Rings! Fantastic!

  • When I hear this I feel like the guy puking rainbows.

GAAAAAH THIS IS SOOOO GOOD TO HEAR!

  • the music really matches this place.. mysterious and mystical full of fantasy.. my first character is night elf hunter so this gives me full of memories ahhhh i want to cry =(

  • @morningstar000 Me Too :'( Old Memories

  • Comment removed

  • @SergeantColdgirl the more i listen to the music the more i want to play wow again =(

  • @morningstar000 you're right its hard to give up playing WoW

  • This brings back memories , seeing cool mounts that i wanted, seeing cool armor that i wanted, seeing everyone talking in wow slang, WTS, WTB, WTT that i didn't understand cause i was a noob. Yeah Good old memories :)

  • reminds me of when i was younger and my dad used to play this back in 2004

  • same dude good memories

  • Download link :D ? I haven't played WoW in two years, but the music brings back fond memories.

  • do this bud, keep-tube and download it as a mp3 from that website :)

  • nightelfes has the best music <3

  • Besides the log-in music, this is the very first song I heard in WoW, back in 2004. Such sweet memories... I think the thing that stands out most is the quest to go into that cave with a group and fight the Furbolgs. *Sigh*

  • such underrated beautiful music

  • aaaaarrrgh! nostalgia is bursting out of my eyeballs! the pain! the beautiful, beautiful pain!

  • nightelf hunter- my very first character as a complete noob :D dw i didnt know what dungeons and battlegrounds were so i didnt destroy other players experience ^^ i just quested.

  • Oh i know it's just a game but i have played it for so long,, it's been me and my friends play ground for so many years. I can't stop thinking about the days i was new to the game. I never knew i could love a game like this. The feeling is EPIC.

  • i really miss these days.... i miss old WoW.

  • beautiful

  • God god god, memories!

  • Is this where the Night Elves start off as? I play Horde so of course I don't know and I'm too lazy to read down in the comments below me, so is this where Night Elves start off?

  • This music brings tears to my eyes :( so many good memories...i miss the thrilling feeling i had the first time i wandered through this huge world.

    R.I.P Vanilla WoW :(

  • @kmomang i FEEL YOU ;(, the pure magic original WoW had. I want it back so bad. Cataclysm has come and destroyed a once amazing game.

  • this reminds me of first time playing wow iplayed alliance in trailer account. but in normal wow i went to hordes because all my mates are horde.

  • Comment removed

  • Takes me all the way back to when i first started playing wow and new nothing of the huge game that awaited me. its funny it's like i was a small child growing up in my lil neighborhood then branched out to slay dragons and ride on winged lions. that first song will always make me smile.

  • @MondotheG Same here, and now that ive explore all of WoW and all its content i want to go back.

  • I miss the years when i was noob ;( best years in my life noob nightelf druid dont know how to get bearform too bad :(

  • My memories of Ashenvale were of slaughtering pathetic night elves with no meat on their bones. Haha, we killed your god Cenarius and now we'll turn your precious forest into new weapons of war. For Heallscream, For the HORDE

  • Comment removed

  • Sounds like heaven

  • it´s still the same music in teldrassil.

  • Hearing this makes me *almost* miss WoW. My best IRL friend and I used to destroy Astranaar on an almost weekly basis when we got bored. This music was half the reason we always chose Ashenvale <3.

  • this music makes me want to escape this world.

  • holy balls... so good memories

  • How many people lost sleep questing to this music, so so good :)

  • Good old times! WoW really fcked my grades up in my second year of high school tho haha! loved doing the quests with my mates and still waiting for a game that will be as good!

  • I just got goosebumps, so many memories...

  • this music remembers me so many thing that I wanna cry :(

  • @LiebeLightLichtLove Trust me man, I know exactly what your feeling. I know EXACTLY what your feeling...

  • This was the 1st music that I listened to in WoW back in 2005 :(

Oh my god! I'm almost into tears :(( good old memories

    I don't play anymore.

  • @Maheed94 ikr? freaking nostalgic

  • @esp1996 Yeah man :(

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh :(((

  • 0:00 - 3:08 <3

  • I remember when I first played this game and got to Darnassus, I was like 14 years old back then. This song brought back memories of a girl I made friends with back then, had totally forgotten it. *sigh*

  • Oh boy how I miss this music, and the feeling of being a n00b in Teldrassil... When I made my first ever character, a night elf in beta, I didn't know what to expect. And when I heard this music, I was sold. But music comes and goes, and I really miss the feeling of just strolling around the Night elf place with a level 1 character, trying to figure out where the quest mobs were, since you didn't have the markers on the map. Good ol' questing. *sigh*

  • I stopped playing WoW years ago, but just thinking about this music makes me want to get back into it. It'll never be the same, though. Maybe if I wait a few more years I can get the noob feeling all over again. lvl 1-20 as a Night Elf were good times. Just looses it's magic afterwards.

  • i remember starting a new night elf Quite often. just to hand out arround this wonderful place listening to this music :) good times.

  • @maltezz I used to do that, too. I loved this starting area.

  • I remeber when I jumped from the Teldrassil and I died near the sea, so I thought I have to start lvling again ( I had lvl 8..)

  • Comment removed

  • this can still be heard

  • Can't bare not to play WoW, need money, NOW. I miss you, so much..

  • This place was the reason I got into World of WarCraft. I was in love with this place, along with Ashenvale.

  • @Shpati21 Same here

  • @Shpati21 first character was a nelf got me addicted to WoW

  • @Shpati21 Oh my gosh, same here. Back in classic.(: I felt like I was really a night elf...running through Ashenvale and Teldrassil. (Yep, I'm a nerd. But we all are. Let's be proud...aha)

Okay..... now the nostalgia is starting to hurt my heart :(

  • @Shpati21 ^this^

  • @Shpati21 Until Blizzard came and fucked it up, I'd carry on joining if they made it a pre bc. :[ they just fucked it up way to much.

  • @Shpati21 i only choose night elf because i knew I would start at this place

  • this brings me back, wow blizzard u guys fucked the game up

  • Hey Jolean S. Its Tyler:D

  • It's Tyrande Whisperwind's sweet lullaby :)...

  • i'm horde but i love this music. some times i go to this place to just listen to the music and some alliance attacks me thinks i came for fight. lol

  • The song at 1:11 is called Song of Elune, at the end you can hear it.

  • LOVE ME KNOW WHAT THE SONG SAYS ONLY HEAR AND SECURITY MEANS SOMETHING BUT MURMURINGS

    Escuchar

  • Cataclysm certainly delivered in terms of destruction, though it did so in terms of destroying what was immersive and interesting about the game. :(

  • Cataclysm is terrible

    WTLK terrible

I long for the past but I can't...

All I have are fond memory of friends that I will never see and places I will never go.

  • SOMEONE PLEASE MESSAGE ME im having a nostalgia attack and i really need someoen to talk to about wow. i played it for years so i need someoen who played original.

  • I remember my first WoW character, loading in to this music and the look of teldrassil, I knew i was hooked.

  • @hubuly Just like me o.O :))

  • man bring 12 and coming home from church my mom would always go to sleep. then I just got on and went fishing to this music. fucking mudskippers lol

song will never cease to put a smile on my face

  • @DreamJ2eaper uhh *being not bring

  • whats the song called a 1:07 :s I LOVE IT SO MUCH

  • 1:11 <3

  • @RavenDior100 indeed

  • @RavenDior100 that really needs to be a full blown 5minute song =]

  • @RavenDior100 magic... I don't know why, but the first time I heard that part, I had a feeling like I knew the song from long time ago... strange

  • @Goldsthar I think there is a movie song that sounds a lot like it

  • the music suits the scenarios so well it makes me feel as if i have entered a dream world. too bad i quit wow last year in April >_< This reminds me about the good old days

  • God bless 1:13. Still the best.

  • Smoothe and Gentle Is The Music , Clear And Mellow It Is As Well . Rythmic And Charming. Very Tranquil. It Puts The Audience To A State of Meditation and As it Feels the Soul It Relax's Your Mood And Emotion's And You Are Finally One with The Music

  • @em0zc00l Beautiful poem! The best comment Ive ever read!

  • @Wowmusicable Thank you for your compliment I ineed like to write although my age is twelve I still find poetry very tranquil and mind soothing.

  • @em0zc00l this music brings me back to a lot of memories in wow.

  • @gristor i know what you feel.. i wanna stay to that forest and just listen all by myself =(

  • This music is so beautiful...very clear melody...definitely my favourite.

  • amazing first experience... but the game development disappointed me so much. Nice memories.

  • Yeah, looking back on it I always think out of the Dun Morogh, Elwynn forest and Teldrassil Dun Morogh was my favourite place.

But really, this was an amazing place and does make me feel very nostalgic. When I started playing a Night elf was my first character and I loved running up the tree ramps, staring at the canopies of leaves and seeing all the nice animals.

It's weird how your perspective changes knowing the game inside out, it seems so different. Much less new, but nicely familiar.

  • @Throthgar Good to hear other players spent as much time just looking up at the amazing trees of Teldrassil. I think Teldrassil has the best music and the most beautiful landscape. This was a big part of what got me immersed in the game. I have since stopped playing, but I have memories of these places as if I had almost physically been there. Kind of strange.

  • its so epic... so stunningly beautiful.. now i have all big characters.. but when i started playing wow.. this was it... so wonderfull pure :)

  • it's pretty :D
