  • OH if only we had these at cimic house.

  • Were can I get one that has the sage stock, I really like the look of the Rock Island Arsenal m14 EBR RI but it is hard to find.

  • Where could I get one of these for my M14?

  • FINALLY FUCK a video that IS NOT AIRSOFT!!

    effing kids and their toys

  • @Taud gave a thumbs up because i've been thinking the same thing

  • @4deere yeah, they dont put airsoft in the title lol so im trying to research buying real fire arms and these toys keep popping up, but yeah i cant get a real military issue m14ebr but im trying to build one off an old chinese m14

  • my deployment present to me :)

  • Now that is one hell of a rifle

  • Do you have to wear cool ass shades to work for blackwater?

  • That was the last sound my friend heatd before he fell.....

    Rest in peace buddy.

  • There's a 7.62 NATO round which is another name for. 308

  • @xWARHAWKxALPHA its similair to the 308 winchester but not the same...

  • i thought the m14 ebr shot a .308...

  • @paintballman79 m14s have always been chambered in 762 nato.... you can fire 308win outta it

same as 556 nato AR and firing 223 win outta it...

  • It is a beautiful rifle.

  • I dry my eggs off with a paper towel so they're not as oily.

  • Comment removed

  • サンタさん、宜しく

  • I know what i want for Christmas.

  • been a fan of this weapon for along time =D

  • Cant wait to start popping heads with this in Mw3...

  • @ReppinDK87 Stfu.

  • @Puggy8D u mad bro?

  • If this gun had the EBR modifications (which are just cosmetic not operational)in '55, the m16 may never had been adopted.

  • @dsspike51 Even despite being upgraded, it's age old design flaws have not gone away. Heavy ammo which limits the amount of ammo a soldier can take into battle. Heavy rifle. Excessive recoil. Harder to maintain.

  • @dsspike51 No, they still would have adopted some replacement. It's just not practical for every single soldier to be walking around with a .308

  • @mustbeburtreynolds Why not?

  • @1775marsoc For one, because the recoil on it is absurd, and two, because carrying a significant number of .308 rounds is going to weigh you down a good bit. A 5.56x45 NATO (M4/M16) is less than half the weight of a 7.62x51 NATO (.308 - M14, M60, M40A3, etc.)

It's a sniper rifle round, not an assault rifle round. And with the way the 5.56 is designed (to tumble upon impact), it already causes massive amounts of internal destruction, so a larger round is unnecessary.

  • @mustbeburtreynolds A larger round is necessary in some cases. If it wasn't, then no armies would be issuing 7.62x51 weapons anymore. In Afghanistan, they found the 7.62x51 to be a better round for the long range engagements they frequently come across. The 5.56 does not have a good wounding effect at farther distances. The 7.62x51 is more lethal at a distance. The 7.62x51 also penetrates barriers better. As long as we have the 5.56x45 round, a larger round will always be necessary to supplement it.

  • @esh325 Sorry a little late, but what about 5.556 that is match grade, along with match grade options for the rifle, such as a SDM setup

  • @mustbeburtreynolds The older M855 round tumbled a lot, but the newer more commonly used SS109 doesn't.

You said yourself that the 7.62 is a sniper rifle (and machine gun, as you forgot to mention) round, so by logic, you wouldn't have to carry more. The recoil is reasonable as long as you weigh over a buck twenty five.

The larger round is unnecessary since a 5.56 won't always put someone down, especially at longer ranges.

  • @SSgt24thMEU I'm not saying the recoil isn't manageable for a normal sized adult, just that it starts to get uncomfortable after several dozen rounds, whereas the same person can put hundreds of 5.56 down range without issue.

Assuming you deploy with six 30-rnd mags of 5.56, you're going to want at least six 20-rnd mags of 7.62. That's still 35% more weight.

And you're right that a 5.56 often fails to drop someone, but the internal bleeding will still have them on the ground pretty damn quick.

  • @mustbeburtreynolds I'm not sure if non-servicemembers understand this, but 'pretty damn quick' often isn't quick enough. You want them dead once the bullet hits. The 'more ammo carried' is a non-issue when you hit the person at 800m, or through a concrete roadblock.

The M14 works fine in a CQB situation. Grenades tend to go in first. I've done house clearing with a full length M16A4. The explosiveness of action makes the whole difference.

5.56 has its place at any rate.

  • @SSgt24thMEU Fair enough.

  • @SSgt24thMEU Then you get into the issue of CQB with an M14, clearing small rooms with probably a couple of AKs pointing at the door. Starts to get tight with the longer barrel/bigger recoil/slower acquisition.

I'm not saying the M14 isn't useful; it's a brilliant rifle. But it's built for long range combat. Something like an M16 or M4 or L85 or Scar-H is more practical for most engagements.

  • 240p... we meet again

  • @monkey64cow Haha I was gonna write that... gotta love 240p :P

  • Guy who meets 240p we meet again

  • @monkey64cow It's 2006 you ass-hole.

  • How much is it

  • thumbs up if you are here because of MGO

  • @vasilaras21 What's MGO?

  • @GameFreakTV1 Metal Gear Online

  • @Amuricah its a m14 w/ a new ebr stock?=m14 ebr

  • @Amuricah it's obvious you have issues and constantly need to flaunt your so-called ''intelligence'' on other peoples videos by making your point, calling them a fag, and then going on your way. also i will not take any bullshit from a guy who bump-fires a ruger mini-14 like a retard. run on home. your momma's calling

  • I had these & the Troy mcs, the Troy is by far way ahead of the ebr & kicks alot less.

  • @Amuricah implying that i am little, please do not humor me.

  • @Amuricah actually... this has the lugged flash hider and a 22" barrel, which he states. It is indeed an M14-EBR.

  • @Amuricah no one gives a shit we gonna call it what we want

  • ebr= extremely badass rifle

  • EBR M1a?

  • EBR M1a

  • could u imagine just straight pistol gripping that bitch haha lol

  • so we meet again 240p

  • DUHH DURR I LIEKD IT BETTAH IN CALL OF DUTY CUZ YOU COOD KWIK SCOPE WIF IT DURR

  • what if you run out of rounds and want to adjust your cheekpiece? :[

  • @Awesumsaucezz Then get more rounds. ; ) or you could be constructive enough to use your imagination and use a pointed object to make the necessary adjustments. You can do that, right?

  • @whitebeebo I didn't think of that before. :D

  • replace the m16 with this I want all of our MARINES using this.

  • @SeanzViewTwoPointGay i got to agree with you....the m16 jams way too much. My best friend's dad had to go through that sharpshooter test that you can only do once, and he used the m16. He was so close to the sharpshooter score but it jammed and now he is stuck with being with the marksman score.

  • @SeanzViewTwoPointGay Its only a semi and carrying 10 mags of .308 compared to .223 is gonna get heavy mind you Ive heard the military is looking into the M4 68 for that extra punch check it out its a bit of a beast

  • Gun is that thing between your legs. That killing instrument in your hands is a weapon, rifle or piece. An occasional sideways reference to it being a shooting iron is excusable, but never gun. Gun? Oh my God! Yikes!

Anyway, very nice modification. That is very appreciable. Well done!

  • @centurion180ad

From Webster: gun (noun) - a : a piece of ordnance usually with high muzzle velocity and comparatively flat trajectory b : a portable firearm (as a rifle or handgun) c : a device that throws a projectile

I think calling it a gun is fine. I, however, would not call it a weapon. It is a tool that can be used as a weapon.

  • @Skiier2008 it's a great tool you can install bookshelves at 50 feet!!!!

  • @Skiier2008 Proper military terminology does not correspond to Websters. A GUN is a long tube artillery weapon designed to out-range enemy ordnance of the same caliber with a shorter tube and smaller propellant charge such as a HOWITZER. A CANNON is even smaller still, rapid fire AAA or portable infantry support.

Below that threshhold there are anti-tank rifles and A.A. heavy machine guns using a borderline cannon round.

  • @centurion180ad

The comment I replied to doesn't say anything about the military. I know all too well that the military likes to use their specific terminology in all instances. I'm not saying that your most recent comment is wrong, you didn't say anything about the military in your original comment. Anyway, I still see no problem with civilians simply calling their handgun or long gun a gun.

  • I used this gun as a scout and fire-team leader. The gun's perfect for long range shooting with excellent fire rate.

  • Rock Island Arsenal is also building EBRs for the Army. It is called M14 EBR-RI. There is an article in Combat Arms magazine published by Guns&Ammo about the M14 EBR-RI. Rock Island Arsenal takes M14s and changes the stock, bore sights a scope that stays with the gun, and checks for accuracy. TACOM does not accept anything that shoots over 1.5 MOA. The EBRs have been averaging .97 MOA. One of the EBRs shot a .44 MOA.

  • Fucking hell, I want one so bad

  • world's best gun on steroids

  • dear santa:

  • that's 7.62 right?

  • @Shae232 7.62x51

  • My friend has one, and its so badass...

  • @legomyeggo713 the U.S. military does...

  • somebody tell me why the U.S military doesn't use this fabulous battle rifle

  • @legomyeggo713 i am pretty sure the Navy Seals use this amazing B.A. rifle. HeHe BA rifle for an extremly BA person.......i know i spelt "extremly" wrong

  • @legomyeggo713 Since 2010, the U.S. Army has made available two EBRs per infantry squad for units deploying to Afghanistan

i dont know if this is true for sure because thats of wikipedia, but if that is true, you cant say they dont use it

  • @13thmistral Rock Island Arsenal is building them for the Army. It is called M14 EBR-RI. There is an article in Combat Arms magazine published by Guns&Ammo about the M14 EBR-RI.

  • i have one of those

its heavy as shit but i love it, her name is daphne

  • The ruger mini 14 is the more affordable version.

  • @BravoTeam127 True that. Though the 308 is an outstanding round.

  • @the308capital The mini 14 also takes a .308 and a 7.62, I don't know what the main difference is between the weapons other than the fact that the mini 14 comes stock with only semi auto and not selective fire.

  • @BravoTeam127 The mini-14 is a .223 and the mini-30 is a 7.62x39, there is no .308.

  • @the308capital I was talking about the mini 30 and it can with an after market kit. Usually if a rifle takes a 7.62 its not a far stretch to make it take a .308, I think if your gonna buy a mini 14, get the more powerful version and get the Mini 14

  • so what caliber rounds can this take?

  • @cenafrk 7.62 round it's a fantastic rifle, but a bit expensive. The one's I've looked at are around 2500 dollars.

  • @cenafrk 308 and 7.62

  • i hate all those mentaly fucktarded people , that just becouse Modern Warfail 2 says M21 EBR , they think its true ...

  • @Raellz try around 18, M1 came about around 1924, M1a1 came about around 1941

  • how much?

  • And this all derived. From the greatest battle implemant, ever devised. The M1 Garand

  • how accurate is this rifle? thinking of getting one

  • @JoeFGale You can hit a trashcan at 800-1000 yards

  • @KarnKrash DO WANT

  • @FloatingWok gayass fucking cityboy

  • @landronics haha really dude? The entire country revolves around us and calling me a "gayass cityboy"? You must be out of your mind you savage redneck scum. All the shit in your house wouldn't be there if it wasn't for us "cityboys". What a little fucktard. And coming all the way to post the same fucking comment on my channel? Just shows how fucking pathetic and retarded rednecks are.

  • @FloatingWok you sad little fuck without us you would die of starvation we cowbiys are all fucking stronger than you little punkass city boys . I work out every day unlike you you fat fuck

  • @landronics you aren't a cowboy if you have a computer....

  • @staplehead3 im not poor .

  • m14 ebr = sexiest gun ever

  • @KarlinPain can you use it as a dildo or what the F ?!

  • This thing is expensive as hell and weighs a ton. It's like 15 pounds, plus ammo. No thank you I'll stick to the standard stock, in synthetic. They give you TOO MANY options in this kit, I don't need all those rails, just a bipod up front and that over the action rail for optics. The adjustable stock is nice, for body armor, but not worth the weight for the rest.

  • Is there a video showing an M1 Garand EBR?

  • We should totally switch to the EBR if they made it full auto

  • @CCTHooyah yes, make some m14a1 EBR :D

  • @CCTHooyah it is full auto, look for video blondie shooting ebr

  • Love the EBR, one sexy ass rifle.

  • @ErAndy11500 Barret for sure.

  • nice a video that doesnt include fucking airsoft

  • EBR stand for "Expensive Bastard Rifle".

  • Dragunov is better.

  • @CommunistSpyware American .50 Cal Barret M82 is superior to your puny-ass rifle of choice. Begone, communist.

  • @BloodySawBlade Sure you need a bullet of the size of a finger. What do you hunt dinosaurs? hahahahhaa. Face it russian weapons are better, cheaper and sexier than your fucking toys. HAHAHHAHAHA facist pig.

  • @CommunistSpyware Luckily, my "facist pig" weapons will be able to pick you off before you can move in close enough to where you'll have a percent chance high enough to round to .1 to hit me with the garbage 7.62x39 round those retarded Russian pieces of shit use :D

  • @xgeneralzimx Dragunov still better.

  • @CommunistSpyware On the off chance you can hit anything with it

  • @xgeneralzimx Wathever, im not russian XD.

  • @CommunistSpyware I laugh at your misplaced word. "Facist"? What is this, Nazi Germany? Retard.

  • @BloodySawBlade No im not a retard.I think, maybe, that you are a retard. Facism is a politicall ideology. You can be facist withouth being a nazi. Learn about politics mate. Asshole. LOL.

  • @CommunistSpyware Ok, dickhead. LOLZ.

  • @BloodySawBlade LOL im glad that you understand me.

  • @BloodySawBlade M82 is not the US rifle of choice the M24 is standard to us Recon Ops snipers also the M82 is an AM rifle no need for a human target with in 1500 yards

  • This fucking EBR cost too fuckign much. get the price down to 100 bucks tops.

  • Dear santa...

  • STFU

  • LAME!

     JUNK

    MORONS!

  • OH, 800 yards.......have you even shot a target at 800 yards>?

  • I'd bet $1000 you couldn't hkit an 8" plate with it off-hand....wanna bet?....HAHAHAHA!!!

  • You won't hit an 8" plate at 100M with that chopped-up POS.....punk.

  • Lame.

I have an M1A in McMillan E2, with bipod, 3rd Gen Mt, Leupold 1.5-5X....Douglas heavy barrel...it can handle some heat....

    ....double-taps on an 8" plate at 200M....every time.....POP-POP......POP-POP

  • Scooter, you're not gonna hit anything beyond 100M with that chopped little barrel....LAME!

    ....I own (2) Alan Baker M1As

  • Sprinfield- M1 Garand- M14- M14 EBR- M21

  • I want one!!!

  • this gun is legit

  • m1 garand = grandad

    m14 = son

    m14 ebr = grandson.

  • @daytonairsofters

    That's what I was thinking.

  • @daytonairsofters M1903 = Great Grandad.

  • @daytonairsofters Correction:

    M1 Carbine = Grandad

    M14 = Son

    M14 = Grandson

  • @Spec0pleader mine makes more sense IMO.

  • @daytonairsofters hmm but the m1 carbine is more like the m14 compared to the m1 garand

  • @Spec0pleader no way! the m1 garand has that stock that looks like the m14, ill agree that the m1 has the mag, but looks wise, i go with the m1 garand. chachink!

  • @Spec0pleader EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERT! YOU ARE WRONG!

  • @Spec0pleader Right the first time, m1=grandad

  • @daytonairsofters is the m1a1 carbine the grandmother

  • @daytonairsofters Lol...you forgot grandad's little cousin, M1 Carbine

  • @daytonairsofters M1 Socom = nephew.

  • @daytonairsofters m1 carbine- gay uncle

    m2 carbine- epic uncle

  • @TehBloodyYank556 couldn't your gay uncle be epic?

  • @daytonairsofters yes, but he's annoyingly happy

    ALL THE TIME

  • @TehBloodyYank556 m1 n m2 is just desame s2pid piss of shit

  • @jibreyes I don't know what I did to deserved to be called a "stupid (PIECE) of shit" but the m1 carbine and the m2 carbine aren't the same. The M2 carbine has a semi/full selector switch, different rear sight, a reshaped stock, a bayonet lug, and other small things compared to the m1 Carbine.

I'm pretty sure you are just being a troll when you called me a piece of shit but you can call someone stupid when you're wrong. Plus I work in small arm manufacturing.

  • @TehBloodyYank556 haha small arm manufacturing on your profile it says your 14 kid what a bullshitter you need your head sorting out

  • @vuy1111 Excuse me sir, no one was talking to you, and i am not 14. Does youtube even record ages, i don't know. Look for WolfBlabe369, thats my account

  • @jibreyes

piss of shit? nice english, motherfucker.

  • are the m14 and m21 like based of the m1 garand or something?

  • @punchmaster123 The m1 garand was in essence the m14's dad. the m21 is exactly the same as the m14 with a longer barrel and match ammo

  • is there a civilain modle that i can buy?

  • @budzin303 yes

  • @budzin303 yes there is since its a semi auto i actually checked out one on gander mountain at springfield Illinois

  • @budzin303 its called the M1A and yep i just bought mine TODAY! gonna put a vid up in a week or 2 when i get it in

i got the M1A "Loaded" version in black and a stainless barrel

  • @budzin303 Yeah, it's called buying an M14 and a Sage EBR stock...

  • @budzin303 they mini 14 ebr kits and finished guns

  • @budzin303 Springfield M1A

  • @budzin303 Yes, you can buy a standard M1A from Springfield armory and then buy the chassis separate. Very pricey though. Around $800. Sage International produces the chassis.

  • @budzin303 yeah, its called a m1a ebr

  • @budzin303 An M1A, but you may have to buy the chassis.

  • @budzin303 fulton armory makes one

  • @budzin303 Springfield M1A (Civi M14) then add your own Sage EBR package

  • @nhirata10 good call, i was looking at those today in my local gun store lol that would be awesome to get. Also i would love to have a gsg-5 it's a .22 chambered mp5 with a (fake unfortunately) suppressor

  • @psychoclown420 Personally, I think I would prefer a M1A Scout with an 18'' barrel or a Socom II with a 16'' barrel, instead of the full size M1A. The German Sport Gun MP5 clone looks really cool, but it looks like a little over kill with the tacti-cool stuff on a .22LR platform

  • @budzin303 Search gunbroker (dot) com

  • @budzin303 buy an m1a then an ebr kit

  • aloominnum lol

  • LOL sividumb looks like someone got some footage of you in your backyard.

    watch?v=N-yZFbzaWbg

  • @Jospehporta Funny, that looks just like ur mum's backyard that u described to me...

  • ive used this in iraq and Afghanistan as my squads dm and i love it
