@MerlinBunny1 I bought a GT-10 after playing my mates GT-8... and for me it sounded a lot more digital and not as nice... it has some great effects, but in hindsight, I wouldn't have bought it as my main rig.
however it does sound really great through the usb out, so it's really good for recording, but I found it wasn't really what I wanted for live sound
This video uses a hundered seperate other effects with drums etc that makes the song stands out more...
And all the tracks are double or triple tracked to stand out more... I'm not saying that it's a bad processor, heck I own it. But don't expect this sound the first time you just plug it in...
they are very different!! -i think its for what you want it for!! -so gt 8 is clearly for perfomens and the other me 70 maybe more for the explorer!! maybe its straight arround for some since you need to explorer and get to know your gt 8 -but it does go on 2 speakers at the same time!!! and far more -the me 70 does non off it but great for the -perfect- sound of your choice!!! good luck! i would go for the gt8 or the me-25-!! on the streets now best for performens and build in interface!!!
Would anyone know if it is possible to adjust the sensitivity of the EXP Switch (The button found beneath the expression pedal which you activate by pressing down hard with your toes on the pedalt). On my gt-8, if I even just lightly touch it with the pedal, it toggles the switch and this is highly irritating. Is there a way that I could adjust this so that I would need to press down much harder onto it?
Switch the gt8 off, then keep the CTL/EXP button pressed in (the button to the right of the master button) and then switch the gt8 on. It will then say "Exp calibration". Set pedal to min. Tilt the pedal all the way back to set the min and press write, then tilt the pedal all the way forward to set the max, and then THRESHOLD means how hard you have to press. For me a thrshld of 9 is just right.
I wonder if there is a big difference between GT-8 and GT-10. In terms of sound I mean. By the way the guy that plays here knows what the guitar is for !!!
I had this pedal. Great pedal with excellent sound but was too complicated and wasn't user friendly. Guitar rig 3 is a million times better and is user friendly. It has hundreds more sounds than the GT8. GT8 still a very good pedal.

@riskotibor80
That seems like it's going to be a fix requiring some physical expertise rather than the settings in the gt-8.
In mine, i have to press down kind of hard actually.
Maybe take a look under the switch or something if you feel curious/confident enough!
Looking inside these things is pretty fun either way, so much going on in there.
But from my experience with it, there isn't a sens. option for the Exp Sw

Actually I managed to fix the problem:
Switch the gt8 off, then keep the CTL/EXP button pressed in (the button to the right of the master button) and then switch the gt8 on. It will then say "Exp calibration". Set pedal to min. Tilt the pedal all the way back to set the min and press write, then tilt the pedal all the way forward to set the max, and then THRESHOLD means how hard you have to press. For me a thrshld of 9 is just right.
Take care

Crazy, thanks for the info!
There's always something new to learn on this thing it seems!
I didn't know you could calibrate the pedals like that.
Thanks,

I even tried with the TRESHOLD of 1... nothing

Isnt Guitar Rig a software plug-in by Native Instruments for recording? Thats
not what the GT-8 is. Apples and Oranges comparison.

I've seen you write this in like a million video's, go to pretty much ANY music store. if they don't have it, they can order it for you.
or look on this cool invention called the Internet, I'm pretty sure you can order it off of one of thousands of websites.
