  • this is dishonestly edited. Agassi isn't reacting to the nitwit comments by the interviewer so the questions he asks are not what Agassi heard.

  • I hate it when uneducated dumb asses bring up the "coal produced electricity" fallacy as being dirtier than gas powered cars. Get some knowledge before you drop your cow pie of idiocy on the web...

  • I will not support any Isreali enterprise until they do right by the Palistians.

  • This Upbin guy is gotta be kidding. We don't care about your doomsday despondent attitude. I'm glad there's people thinkng about the solutions, not the problems.

  • The only valid point Upbin has is that it's going to be a challenge getting those regions that are dependent on coal to switch to clean energy. Mainly, because you're talking about people losing there jobs.

  • The Forbes guy is daft. Agassi shines thouigh .. just like his product and idea here. Its gonna rock .

  • this guy from forbes is not exactly the brightest person in the world

  • In the UK the average CO2 produced by a car is 0.180Kg/Km, or 28.8Kg/160Km

According to the EPA USA (2000), a coal plant produces 2.095pounds of CO2/KwHr or 0.95Kg/kWh.

14kWh will bring the Tesla 160Km, if run 100% on coal electricity thats 13.3Kg/160Km.

Less than half the CO2, who the takes 100% of their energy from coal?

So Bruce, do you know what youre talking about when you say, it depends were you get your electricity from.

  • The problem with A Better Place is their buisness model or philosphy is "Just get in bed with the government"

Better Place wants to take control of the huge market there will be for fueling electric cars, they want the monopoly on this. You see Agassi talking with politicans all the time. Hes at all these conferences.

Im not a fan of this approach. He should just be making his product, which is something kind of fuel station for electric cars and then let the market adopt it, or not.

  • Petrol Stations around the world didnt spring up because of government invovlenment for example. No i dont believe the world will be better of if this new wave of transportation technology/energy will evovle out of the state, out of governments.

He has to just make his product and then let the market decide if its good or bad.

  • In Europe this will happen MORE QUICKLY than what he'd like it to happen
