Peopla like Max Blumenthal are the real Islamophobics. Instead of respecting the Muslims and take their words seriously, these guys are interpreting their real intentions. Thus, the Palestinian Mufti, who historically collaborated with Hitler, are all of a sudden innocent. Similarly, opposing president Obama is an act of Islamophobia. What Muslim "hate crime victims?" According to the FBI, religious hate crimes against Jews (a population roughly the same size) outnumbered those against Muslims by 10 to 1- and most of those were committed by Muslims.

This guy is full of it. They made a Paul Newman movie specifically to encourage Jewish pro-Israel sentiment? It was a major studio based on a best-seller: it was designed to make money.

And the accusation that US law enforcement is not sympathetic to Muslim hate-crime victims needs some proof.

Will you first "de-Islamize" one of several Muslim theocracies before proposing to "de-Zionize" the sole Jewish sanctuary (where Muslims are provided equal rights under law, unlike Arab countries which discriminate against Jews)? I doubt Ahmadinejad's Orwellian "de-Zionizing" Israel is how Blumenthal assumes he would do it.
