Seeing this in Louder Than A Bomb is a huge part of what made me convinced that I needed to do slam poetry. Thank you Adam Gottlieb, wherever you are now, for being an inspiration to poets everywhere.
Saw this documentary on tv a while back and was truly captivated. And this poem especially has been stuck in my head like crazy. I hope that one day I can be as good as him. Speaking of which I have some vids of my poetry up so if you guys can just give me some honest feedback it would be much appreciated. Poets Breathe Now!!!
i saw the movie for this poem in school and it was so good becuse this guy is such a good guy and his poems are so good that i was silent for every second... so guys, breath.....now
YES! What an amazing human being! I just got done watching 'Louder Than A Bomb' and the movie gave me chills and made me cry as well. I definately loved the girl that had done the poem about her brother who has autism and seizures. Why? Because I can relate to that one very well since I am a person that has seizures but I have a daughter that has autism as well. Once again the movie was AWESOME!!!!!
I had the privilege of seeing this documentary at a film festival in Little Rock when it was just being born. I predicted that Adam Gottlieb would become a sensation, and he will. Just watch. Got excited this week when I saw previews of it coming to OWN channel. Keep those voices flowing, poets! You inform society and bring expansion.
Mesmerized. Then my laptop froze half way through and I almost threw it against the wall.
