cool i owm the td12 also ilike the sound is this an orriginal kit sound and if so which one it is i hope te here from you en i love the way youre drumming its verry steady 2 thumbs up !!!
dude this video is really good you definitly have talent im going to be upgrading from a beat up kit i have had since 1997 to a better kit. i was thinking of going hardware to a mapex v series kit but i like electronic kits too.
Are the sounds coming from your actual drum module or are you using some sort of software? Whatever it is it sounds amazing. I have a cheaper roland kit and all the sounds sound terribly fake. I just use it as a midi controller with ezdrummer. Good video!
i'm a begginer and at the moment for my acoustic set for cymbals i just have the hi-hat but damn i was actually playing the song right it looks like :)
A drummer of this quality does not use triggers, what you are noticing is the delay with the camera (a webcam) and hearing the original drums in the background on the original track.
What say you Movisman?
and
Q: Does anyone know of a computer program which can remove drums from tracks so we can play along to them, adding our own style?
no you shouldn't go for something so hitec just yet. the TD-9S or SX would be good if you're looking for a somewhat advanced module and editing system or if you're just looking for a set with nice sounds and such, try the TD-4. Happy Drumming (:
thanks for the instructions. To record the vid did you link the computer to the camera and recorded simulatneously? or did you record it separately and then just sync the video and sound together?
I just recorded the vid using the bundled s/w for the webcam, and the audio using audacity. I recorded them at the same time but used Windows Movie Maker to synchronise them.
and by the way maybe im wrong. it could've been your electric kit. maybe u do it right on the acoustic kit....... so yea i hate the electric..... it has a diff feeling for me.
Yep, I just record with the laptop at the moment through Audacity. I haven't tried any of the vsti software - it's supposed to be pretty good though? Maybe sometime i'll get round to trying it out..

Hi there,
Thanks for the comment! :)
Yeah, pretty basic really, I just plugged a cable from the master out of the TD-12 to the Line In on the laptop to capture the sound, using Audacity.

Indeed, you're right the TD-12 has 2 aux inputs. But it also has two crash inputs and a ride input?
So that means I use 1 of the aux inputs for the 4th cymbal, and the other for the 4th tom?
Cheers!

Hi there,
I do have a PM-10 but don't really use it that much (unless i'm having a quiet jam with friends) - it's a good amp but I prefer the sound through the headphones. I can't really comment whether it would work well in a Bar, i've never used the amp for anything live i'm afraid. I reckon you'd need something a bit higher-end for live performance, I may be wrong but that's my feeling.
Cheers
