Absolutely wonderful! I saw her at the Whiskey with the Suburban Lawns back in 3/81, great photo subject! VERY energetic performer, unparalleled imagination. Kudos for making her works available!!!!!!!

I saw her perform at the Hong Cong Cafe on a bill with the Bags, the Alleycats and Fear. She mutilated a cows head and fucked herself with a rifle. Mind blowing.

I was part of the punk scene in LA back then and also saw Johanna. It was always a great show. I saw her with DNA and she had a pregnant costume on which she took a knife to and opened to pull out a baby as spaghetti-o's spilled all over the place.

This DVD is awesomely great and I urge all of you to go out and buy it. I saw Johanna perform back in the early 80s in LA and San Diego and it is so great to see the great clips that are on this DVD. For those who were not fortunate enough to have seen her perform, you probably have never seen anything like it. Kudos to Soleilmoon for putting this out!
