I remember my previous girlfriend and I broke up because she had to go to her mother country. I will never see her again. This game is the very definition of the word nostalgia for me. Call me what you want.
I could blissfully pass away sitting underneath one of mother nature's trees on a clear autumn day to this serene serenade. Miss this game. Thanks for posting this up
I love Shenmue, I would hook my dreamcast solely to listen to the Shenmue passport sometimes. When I saw the trailer for a number Three, I screamed like a Japanese School girl XD
I wish I knew why music is so nostalgic to humans. I'm guessing it has something to do with how we "store" fantastic moments while listening to a song; so when we hear it a few years later, we associate happiness with it. For example, I recall my first year in college every time I hear an At the Drive-In song.
Kinda like a squirrel stores nuts away for winter, we humans put memories in objects of interest. A perfume your old GF might have worn would be another example.

So many people will never understand what this game does to people. Be proud you feel this way about anything. It shows you are human.

yes, i know how it feels. interesting isn't it?
but it gives, an almost sad aura too, knowing we'll never finish the fight. and the greatest story to ever grace the video game history.
