  • Even through both actors play minor characters, the scenes with these two is some of the best film about father-son relations I've seen

  • @Hoppus217

Yup...that's how pure Briggs was. I always remember his only reference to any 'fear' being...'the possibility that love was not enough'...but of course he knew it was, just the possibility that it wasn't, whe pressed by Windom.

  • amazing moment agree

  • Don S. Davis - truly an underrated actor.

  • @jimjimmyjames59

Indeed...he had tremendous presence & gravitas.

I love this scene....due to the fact that it is rare to see to males sharing this kind of intimacy...probably due to fear.

One of the best scenes from Peaks...but there are many.

  • 'A vison, fresh and clear as a mountain stream'

Only Don could say that line with such amazing class and elegance.

  • "Exceptional. As always." LOL

  • Bobby kept on turning up in some of the greatest scenes, anybody remember the one with doctor Jackoby when he breaks down talking about laura?

  • I wish my Dad would offer me pie...

  • "What is it that you 'do', exactly?"

    "That's classified."

    LOL.

  • I wish you nothing but the very best in all things.

  • "Son?" "Dad?" "Would you care to join me?"

  • Biosphere - Hyperboria

look that song up and tell me what you find :)

  • major briggs of course :P

  • btw the song title is spelt Hyperborea :P

  • Probably my favorite scene from the series. It just caught me so off guard!

  • This was the most touching moment in the series, to me. Makes me cry, without fail every time! Somewhere beneath that arrogant, self-serving exterior of Bobby Briggs beats the heart of a young man who just wants to know his father and make him proud. Thanks for uploading this :-)

  • Major Briggs, a man of honour. One of my favourite characters from the show.

  • Thank you thank you thank you for uploading this. This has to be just about my favorite scene.

  • Notice that, while the Major is retelling his vision, the people in the booths behind him barely move.

This show was so great. It didn't matter if you had the slightest clue what was going on, it was just fantastic to watch. You could turn the TV on midway through a show and just be instantly mesmerized.

    The Huckleberries were particularly fresh.

  • @deyoungparker Thanks for pointing out the people barely moving--terrific stuff. Your comment is great and spot on...anyone else might think something is lynchian just because it's weird...they just don't get it...
