Muslims should be ashamed of themselves for following a stupid and illiterate man who was a rapist, pedophile, looter, murderer, torturer, slave trader and hate monger. No wonder muslims are a most backward, brainwashed, illiterate and violent human sub-species on this planet. May every muslim find within himself the strength, wisdom and courage to break free of the shackles of this satanic cult, so that we may one day have a beautiful earth with no place for hatred and violence.
@islamisdoomed You my friend are a retard. i mean cmon listen to yourself. who would actually stay in a religion like that if it was true?
we would convert to Christianity if that was correct. But since You and the athiest made a bad rumor about us you will keep defending your thoughts about islam .
3.) it is preferred that it is recited in arabic. it is said that in the qur'an that you should convert if you dont believe it in ur heart, but since u said the "majic word" (shahada) but did not say it with the intention of converting, then u were merely opbeying ur teacher. so all good.
4) i converted to islam and my "aHA!" moment was when i was 11 yrs and i didnt believe in the trinity and was looking for what i believed to be the truth. thus im muslim
4) I think my catalyst was dr. Gary Miller. His lectures prooved to me that the Quran has the absolute best case in the world for following religion, and not merely blind faith. In fact it discourages blind faith and forbids the following of mere conjecture. I only truly understood what that meant when I left sunnism and embrassed the quran alone.
5) I dont think I can answer that last question...
1) If the Christians turn out to be right, I have nothing to loose considering that Christ would have died for my sinns in spite of my "wishfull"/deluded thinking of him not doing so. If the Jews are right, hell would simply not be a problem since it would be non-existent.
2) Allah says in the Quran that we are not to follow any other hadith other than the Quran. It's the only and best hadith. Anything other source of law is strictly forbidden.
Okay, Salam brother nice questions! My answers would be...
(PART 1)
1: I dont believe in that and I think my religion is right so.. I dont really think about it.
2: Okay I follow the Sunni Hadith, because I am Sunni! Some Sunni Scholars say that the Shia believe is wrong, search Bilal Phillips Shia Kafir. Kafir means 'disbeliever'.
1.... A very Short answer answer for Question one:
There is no Christian GOD!. so you dont have to ask anything after you die. if there is a Christian GOD, where he has mention that he is the only GOD and there is no other GOD. like Muslims have in Quran (Al IHLAAS- 112 th Section) "QUL-HUVA-ALLHA-AHAD(1)ALLHAH-AL-SAMAD(3)LAM-YALID-VALAM-ULAD(4)VALAM YAKLLAHOO- KUFUVAN-AHAD"
2....We muslims do not follow hadith! its the plural form not singular. We follow Quran and Hadiths. In Quran it says everything we human needs to live peacefully (its not only for muslims, its for every one.) And in Hadiths we have details of what is in Quran plus how Prophet Mohamed(SAW) lived in his life. For Eg: The way he prayed to Allah(GOD), The way he treated people etc.. All that are in the good way. Its not the way todays people think it was.
3....It does'nt metter how many time you say Shahadhath(LA-ILAAHA-ILLLAH-ALLAH- MOHAMED-RASOOLU-ALLAH "There is no GOD but ALLAH and Mohamed is his messenger"), it does'nt make you Muslim. There are so many non muslims they say Shahadha, and they
dont beleve in islam.
What it matter are:
1 what is in you heart about islam
2what is that you thinking about in islam in your mind,
3 Do you really beleve in Islam without any force. -Continued...
3)a When you feel that you need Islam the way you need somebody or somthing to be with you loved most, and you feel that you can practice what are mentioned in Islam Shahadha(Can say any time , the more the better)
Slah (Prayers 5 times a day)
Haj (Once in a life time)
Fasting (30 days a year (certaing days metioned))
3) b without any problem. then you can say these words with knowing the real meaning of those words. and that can make you Muslim. And the Language matters when you say Shahadha to become muslim, and that is Arab,
4... I was born in islam. No one convert me to islam. i am a muslim not because my parents are muslim, i am a muslim because i like islam very much as the way i have metioned in Q3. and i lke islam because i have all the answers i need for my questions which i need to live safe and be safe after my death.
5)a -This section of Quran makes me feel safe and happy. No other God has metioned such perfact and sensible statement ever, Because there is no other GOD.
2. Hadiths to follow should be based on "Asnad" or lineages of narrators and "Kutub Alrigal" which are critical biographies of narrators to evaluate the authenticity. So basically it should be based on the work of historical scholarship (such as "Sahih" Hadiths) and not taken without question. The reason for the differences is because some Muslims unfortunately do not consider the scholarly side of analyzing Hadiths and instead accept whatever a certain religious authority says.
(4) i was born raised christian my father is a preacher, i had done everything the bible said to do, and i lived a miserable life my friends and family used me and betrayed me so i yelled at God and said if im doing something wrong show me, and so i met a muslim person and pretty much converted myself. if you want the details message me. (5) sexual purity, i am 18 virgin, no woman has seen me naked, i've seen no woman naked, i dont jack off. pretty much complete and total sexual purity.
For your first question i wouldnt really ask God anything i would just say oh, ok theres a trinity. (2) The Hadith is esentially a diary of Muhammad's (pbuh) daily activities so your suppose follow the whole thing. (3) the Shahada must be recited in Arabic for it to count for something, you must also say it to a Muslim, and third you have to mean it.
As you may find logic, invention in the religion of Allah is changing his word and leads to hell. That is the best short answer I can give you.
3. I honestly don't know if it has to be spoken in arabic, but I do know that if you speak shahada without meaning it, you don't become muslim.
4. I am born muslim, but you might be able to see how it feels to convert into islam if you watch the video in youtube: henry becomes muslim. If a man becomes muslim, all his past sins will be forgiven inshallah
@ankarata Thanks for the reply. BTW do followers of Shia Hadeeth believe that their Hadeeth is invented? I'll be sure to look up the video you mention. I love watching conversion/deconversion videos.... If you know of any good conversion to Islam videos, let me know and I'll add them to my playlists. I've found three good Christian->Islam videos, but no good ones of people going from non-theism to Islam.
@drsherifhamed Thanks for the link! I've created a NonBelief-Islam playlist... if you have other videos like this for me to add, let me know. Also linked it on my convertstories.tumblr blog.
@jcurious i don't understand u this video is about a man converting from athiest to muslim and passed by the christianity. r u a muslim or anti-muslim or u r seeking for real info ? because the name of ur playlist "NonBelief-Islam " suggest that u r anti-muslim
@drsherifhamed No, I'm not anti anything. I'm fascinated by conversion and deconversions stories. I have playlists for Christianity to Islam, Islam to Christianity, Islam to NonBelief, and now NonBelief to Islam. I haven't had a chance to watch the full video yet. If this is more of a Christian to Islam video, I'll re list it.
@jcurious still don't understand ur goal what's the point in saying that some people convert from one religion to another we all know that many conversions occur so????????.are u an athiest????
@drsherifhamed I'm not trying to point anything out. I like to know how and why people convert from one faith or non faith to another. The best way to do that is to watch the stories of people who made a change. I figure other people may be interested as well. So, I started compiling lists. If this doesn't intrest you, then don't worry about it. I though that since you were sharing a conversion story with me that this was something you were interested in.
@jcurious well conversion stories may help some and may mean nothing to others but what i thought u r after is the truth with proof ( am i right ) if this is the case the conversion stories will say how these people THOUGHT this is the truth but not the actual truth with proof got it ? if u seek truth with proof do a good research and reason the results watch these videos they may help clarifying my point
@jcurious but first of all i'd like to know am i talking to an athiest or someone who believes in God (in any way) because this will guide the discussion in a certain direction ( i.e if u don't believe in God it will be pointless to explain the islamic perception of the nature of God )
1. I would say, O god let me get back to life for one moment so that I can do good deeds. Just as the Christians will do, but Allah shall not revert them to life.
2. We follow the Hadeeth wich's authenticity is proven through several factors. A difference between Shia and Sunnah is that Sunnah As-salaf follow these Ahadeeth and try their best to be like the prophet and his companions. Shia invents new things/rules and follow their ayatollahs. As you may find logic, inventions in religion means
god in order to be god cant have equals or similarities , rivals or any measure. a 'god of trinity' isnt really god at all since being in a trinity suggests having similarities and fitting in a typology. god is worshipped since he is the ultimate reality . and god does not lie, so if god said there is no trinity, there isnt a trinity. no reason why i should consider the possibility of a trinity god as u asked in ur question.
@blerton2009 Please forgive my confusion. How do tell which Hadith is real? Why do some Muslims follow the "wrong" ones? If you are not instructed to live by Mohamed's example in life, what is the point of the Hadith?
@jcurious Actually the Quran DOES teach us to live like Mohammad... (Even though I consider myself lacking in knowledge in Islam, Arabic is my mother tongue and I do recall this mentioned in the Quran). If a Muslim truly wants to ovoid a "wrong hadith", he should ask about the authenticity of the Hadith, and it's simple as I mentioned before, it is based on accurate historical accounts and criticisms, and not based on misquotes and superstitions like some Hadiths are. Allah knows best.
3-Muslim means someone who freely and intentionally submits to the will of God without any pressure or force,so you cant become a Muslim in that way, also if we assume that you had no cance of hearing about Quran in your life, you could still be a Muslim
4-I wasnt raised into Islam
5-No atheist would waste his time on such things, like what i am doing now
1-(I am completely assuming an impossibility, but lets answer, since you wonder)
I would say
"Why did you give us logic if you didnt want us to use it and why did you allow Quran to include many signs of divinity and allow people to put numberless errors in Bible"
2-A hadiths states that "If any of my words contradict Quran in any way,it is not my words,it is made up by people"
In fact Quran already has everything,i need hadiths only for details
ans5:it is difficult to answer because the recognition of morality ,the knowledge of good and evil is etched on every human soul, that is why all human beings throughout the history have had the same experience.
ans4:i was born as a muslim and always believed in islam, and a few years back i became very interested in researching about islam and by the Grace of God i found that it is the only true religion, though i always believed in islam, but a time came when i finally decided to commit myself to the cause of islam.
ans3:a person becomes a Muslim as soon as one believes in and ascribes to the articles of Islamic faith. However, because such belief and ascription is primarily something internal to a person, therefore, to be recognized as a Muslim by other people living in the society, one should also declare his/her faith in the words [not necessarily in the Arabic language]. and i don't think that just by pronouncing the shahdah it makes a person muslim,he must have faith in islam in his heart.
ans2cont:no such hadith is accepted to be a true narrative of the words of the Prophet (pbuh), which is against common sense, or against an established directive of the Qur'an or against an established Sunnah of the Prophet or against any thing which is accepted and followed by the Muslims as the Sunnah, or against logic.
ans2:Hadith is actually a narration of the words or acts of the Prophet (pbuh), as perceived and transmitted by one or more persons who heard or saw the Prophet (pbuh) saying or performing these acts.
ans1;i have all the evidence in the world to show that islam is the only true divine religion,so the question no 1 does not carry weight according to me.
lol i forgot this was you. lol. now I remember. I thought you were a Christian because of your first question. Good times.

1) we strongly beleive in r religion. But any ways Muslims beleive in the same God as Christians we just dont beleive Jesus is his son.
2) me and majority follow sunni hadiths there are many many hadiths from the prophet.
3)no it doesnt. unless u beleive it and u submmit to it.
4) for me yes! ive always been muslim but i never really submitted until looking more into it.

Alhamdulilah muslims are a part of angelic relegions and the most updated
1:christian God is ALLAH because muslims belive in bible and the prophet to whom bible is sent is JESUS CHRIST( pbuh)
2: There are 1000s of hadiths of prophet mohammad (saw) and in the time of need we prefer each of them,
3:islam has 5 pillars ...shahada, performing prayers (sala) fasting, zakat (charity, alms) and haj
by reading shahada you become muslim, you become muslim if you accept it heartedly and mouth.
