I really love this game and those fmvs are really great! I play it on my VC atm and I am nearly through.
I actually am a big fan of you know "relationships" where one character has strong feelings towards another (mostly between main protagonist and some girl) and I really love it that in this game it exists but its not very in the foreground, I for example didn't really get that Marle loves Crono until the scene where he tries to wake him up but the relationship doesn't gain the upper hand..
This scene... I was shocked when I played through the original game and this happened... I was like, no way, they can't kill the main character! I mean, the game is NAMED after him! (I know, not true or whatever, but that's what I was thinking then...) So beautiful ^_^ I half wish they would have shown Marle reacting to that moment :/
Hahaha... Magus is Vegeta, Young Magus (Janus) is Trunks and Chrono is Goku... Their expressions are pratically the same... Toriyama's character looks like the same thing... XDDD
That's why I like Frog, Robo and Gato, they're have original designs that differs from Toriyama's usual style... XP
But, cool... That's one of the best FMVs of Chrono Trigger...

You know what I JUST realized? When they cut to Janus, you can see Crono's reflection in his face when he says "one among you will shortly perish"

This is my favorite Chrono Trigger FMV. Especially well played out. I kinda wish they had a Chrono Trigger Anime OVA Series or something.
