How I think this works is pretty simple, he basically sent thousands, maybe hundreds of the same e-mails to different people, with different horses
When one horse wins, he dismisses the failed predictions and sends new predictions to the ones he got right, eventually he will have the one person that got it right 5 or 10 times in a row, and shows her on the show.

He made the statement in this video that he could guess which horse would win 24 hours in advance. To humor your reply, I went through the whole program. Early on, I guessed what he could be doing, but who would think anyone would go through so much trouble? Well yes it will suck if you bet each way and only get 1/5 of the odds. I managed 1st, 2nd and 3rd at Ascot on Day 2, but I did a different type of bet. Use The Tote Bookmaker they give you place only bets, i.e betting without the favourite. If you are serious you should only bet to win. ALways check the betting forecast to see what the official handicapper thinks too.
More often than not the winner of any race will be found within the first 4 or 5 horses in the betting forecast EXCLUDING the favourite. Any newspaper will show you. The Daily Mirror is best though, or The Racing Post.

I saw this on portrayed on a tv show years ago. The trickster contacts LOTS of people, claims to know the winner, and tells dif. people dif. winners. He sticks with the people who happened to receive correct predictions, and keeps narrowing the pool until one person's seen several wins in a row and is convinced there's a 'system'.

Yes I have. It's about a horse which appeared to to arithmetic. It was actually reacting to it's observers / trainers signals and not actually counting at all. Still it did look good though

lol well at the grand national i predicted the top 3 and they were the top 3 this is no lie but only put a pound on each way so i got 25pound which sucked

Well yes it will suck if you bet each way and only get 1/5 of the odds. I managed 1st, 2nd and 3rd at Ascot on Day 2, but I did a different type of bet. Use The Tote Bookmaker they give you place only bets, i.e betting without the favourite. If you are serious you should only bet to win. ALways check the betting forecast to see what the official handicapper thinks too.

More often than not the winner of any race will be found within the first 4 or 5 horses in the betting forecast EXCLUDING the favourite. Any newspaper will show you. The Daily Mirror is best though, or The Racing Post.
