  • rally to restore freedom had 215,000 people . beat that faux noise .Glen beck only had 65,000 people .

  • Where is the outrage when Bachmann receives a quarter million dollars of welfare from the government?

  • Your source ?

  • Numerous sources. Just google Bachmann and 250,000. But some reason Fox News has failed to report on his scandal.

  • While maybe hypocritical, not illegal. Take a look at what the Democrats and BHO has done that's illegal and unethical. "Jack Mertha Airport" is one pime example, of gov abuse of our tax dollar.

  • Bachmann was against health reform because she afraid it would led to socialism, but showed bravery in cashing in a quarter million dollar in government checks. I wonder what the outrage would be by the medicare teabaggers if Bachmann was a poor black woman.

What is Obama guilty of? I can think of at least two Republican congressmen sitting in a jail cell. Insider trader Bush starts a phony war and Cheney s company wins no bid contracts. I could go on and on

  • shocked face.

  • In this climate it seems like whoever lies the best wins the media cycle so I guess the DNC should release a statement saying health care will give everyone a million dollars.

  • The health care bill that passed the house would cover 96% of all Americans.

For normal people, with good values, health is worth more than a million bucks.

The Democrats dont have to lie to sell their policies. Only Republicans have to do that -- to convince the common American to vote against their own best interest, and for the best interests of the super-rich (who couldnt care less about the common American.) Democratic progressive policies sell themselves.

  • No no, you mean the STUPID people don't want this.

  • The fire department estimated about 3,000 to 4,000 physical bodies.

BUT - if corporations can be counted as people, who's to say that the voices inside their heads shouldn't be counted?

In that case, 20,000 to 50,000 sounds about right...

  • "The American people don't want this" - Only 72% of them.

  • I would love to teabag Michell Eichmann.

  • @jumpoutatree

who is Michell Eichmann? Do you mind Michele Bachmann?

  • Yeah, that's what I call her...that's what all the liberals should start calling her.

  • There were imaginary people at the rally. Well, why not? Fox is imaginary news watched by people who imagine that Bachmann is smart.

  • let's stack up the tea baggers to see how high shit can be stacked.

let's throw the tea baggers in lake superior and see if shit floats.

  • ((Fox is not news))

  • 4 thousand is the fire dept. figure. Batshit herself had to call it a 'press-conference' on the lawn - though I think that was a legality.

Calling for revolution may well be illegal - but calling for revolution with so few supporters is worse than illegal - it's dumb.

  • @maddogofist

Dont kid yourself, just because 120 million pissed of Americans had to go to work on a Thursday doesn't negate the fact that 42 % of the American people strongly disapprove with this administration, compared to 27% that strongly approve. Even though the numbers continue to gain on the disapprove side and shrink on the approve, you idiots still think you are the majority. You're doin a great job brownie, keep it up.

  • Uhm - jjrglobal - President Obama's approval numbers have been around 53%, 55% and his disapproval numbers have been around the high 30% to low 40%, according to Gallup. Over 60% of Americans approve of the public option. Just because you use Drudge Report's statistics doesn't mean they are correct.

  • Actually you're both correct, although jjr's statistic is less meaningful. Of those who approve, they are mixed evenly between strongly approve and somewhat approve... I myself give Obama thumbs up, but not an enthusiastic thumbs up. The fact that more people say they strongly disapprove than strongly approve obscures the fact that the majority of Americans say they approve of the job Obama is doing, even their approval is lukewarm. In other words, if he were to run again, he'd win again.

  • jumpoutatree - I wouldn't mind jjrglobal using strongly approve and strongly disapprove as factors, but there are some issues with what he typed. First, I don't know where he got his info from, while I used Gallup, a very reliable pollster. Also, if you mash the info from Gallup and the info jjr provided together, he is basically saying that everyone who disapproves of Obama strongly disapproves of him, because Gallup disapproval rate is around 30-40%. I don't think that is a true, though.

  • @techn

Umm I'm talking about the presidential approval index which is 42%strongly disapprove 27strongly approve. This poll is far more honest than the others because it excludes people that really dont follow whats going on. There is no in between with Obama, either you strongly approve or strongly disapprove, either you are a socialist or your not. Rasmussen is the most accurate poll and has been for some time, they missed the last pres election by .2%.Closer than anyone else by far.

  • roflmao, you are beyond hilarious, jjr. You think that just because it is called the "presidential approval index" it somehow makes it unbiased? And yes, indeed, there is an inbetween with Obama - progressives generally approve of him but may not strongly approve because he did not push for a strong public option and because of Afghanistan. Your "socialist" comment just proves how biased and idiotic you are. As for Rasmussen, they have an obvious Republican house bias. Who said they were

  • You go ahead and roll on the floor you idiot. Every time these tens of millions of people are marginalized and ignored, it is driving this country just a little closer to revolution. I would like for it to be peaceful, but if things continue this way, I fear it will not. You are going to be surprised how many there are. I dont even know anyone thats not mad as hell right now. People are talking about it everywhere, thats whats scary about ti. But you go ahead and roll on the floor, assclown.

  • "tens of millions of people are marginalized". "Driving this country just a little closer to revolution." You seem to forget that we had a democratic, legitimate election to elect the leader of this country, just like our founding fathers wanted it, and over 69 million people voted for President Obama, in the largest landslide since '84. Overthrowing the legimate, democractically elected government is not patriotic, in fact it is tantamount to treason.

  • (cont'd) the most "accurate poll", Rasmussen themselves? Everyone uses Gallup as a non-biased base indicator. The most accurate was fivethirtyeight, run by a former baseball statistician who takes EVERY poll and looks at the trends. He's got a computer mode going that looks at the inside info from every poll (e.g. the demographics, questions asked), adjusts for bias, and spits back info. Unfortunately he doesn't do approval ratings. Gallup is it, not Drudge Report, Rofl @ Rasmussen

  • You're right , there are very few if any Americans that are pissed of at this administration. Everyone is just thrilled to death about losing freedom and heading down that beautiful socialist path to prosperity for all. After all, socialism has a great track record of producing the best societies.

  • The approval index is something new that the media started using during the last few years of the Bush administration. It is useful for measuring the likely effect of a high turnout, and it could have been used to accurately predict a landslide for Obama. So I dont have a problem with it, but it is not "more honest" than a straight up or down poll. 'Strongly approve' and 'strongly disapprove' do not indicate a greater depth of knowledge, in fact, I think its the other way around.

  • I never said that there were only a "few if any" people pissed off, I simply laid out how most accurate polls run things, that many people did indeed vote for President Obama, and there is an in-between between strongly approve and strongly disapprove. "Losing freedom" and "socialist path" is only your opinion, based on your own delusions and your own assumptions. President Bush's approval rating was 20% and he very likely violated the Constitution and you're screaming about Obama - sheesh.

  • This just in: Fox News caught being Fox Newsy.

  • I saw the coverage on FuaxNews, and I estimate the crowd size to be no less than A MILLION BILLION!

  • That was Dr. Evil's estimate.

  • 10s of thousands - I hered 25 to 50 thousands - and you guys want to know how Bernie Mad got away with it -

if you keep saying it - dumb flounkies will beleive it.

  • proof we can't trust fox. cause they can't count people correctly and check facts that they are not a news organization.

  • do these fools not think we can see....that video cameras didn't show the fuckin crowd of losers....it was 3 - 4000 people....not 50,000....you fuckin liars...that's almost as bad as beck lying and saying there were over 1 million people at the 9/12 event....these right wingers don't even care about the truth....lying is so acceptable to them that they don't even care if it makes them look foolish

  • shit if they told me they would have a bus come pick me up and food me I'd be out there too... can't pass up on some free shit hahaha

  • Where do you get your facts from?

  • You should really watch you language. No one takes you serious when you use profanity. It only shows your intolerance for a dissenting opinion. I bet you would not talk to your mother like that is she was against the bill. And just because I dont like the health care bill does not make me a neo-con. Stop attacking people and argue your points in a civil manner.

  • damn right - I'm neither for nor against the bill, but I am for civil discourse. For that reason, I'm against the GOP.

For 8 years we lived with Bush telling us - protesters marching the streets of London and petitioning against wars - that we were enemies freedom and that we just didn't understand and we didn't know what he knew. Well; he knew nothing.

Now the GOP wants to subvert the system and lie their way into favour - I hope they fail. But you can be against this bill on sound grounds.

  • Apparently the GOP are just as good counting their own people as they are in not counting gays, people without healthcare or their own deficit spending.

  • Okay, I don't think it was 20,000 people.

They got it wrong for the 9/12 rally too. That was in the low six figures, at most.

  • 20+ Thousand - That was the Biggest Cluster Fuck of Lie that FoxNews has pushed.

  • blah, blah, blah

  • I think I heard an estimate of 4,000. I could be 46,000 people off.

  • All these old white people collecting social security were able to come down for a free lunch.

  • 50,000?

let us play monopoly, a house cost fifty and hotel five hundred.

do they count with monopoly money?

  • what a joke

  • What a fucking crock of shit they are feeding the Fox news viewers who have no fucking idea how to think for themselves.

    20,000? Maybe 2000 at best.

    Lying fucking Liars

  • I have a 3 3/4 year old son and he say things like "four hundred twelve zero hundred" all the time - this stuff sound familiar to me.

  • Comment removed

  • I have no problem believing that they inflated the numbers (as a matter of fact I expected it), but nowhere in this video is there a direct contradiction. What's the actual number?

  • Fire department says about 4,000. You can also see a video, taken from above, of the people, though they didn't show it here. It definitely did not look like "tens of thousands".

  • Just wait until your taxes go up, your mandated to buy private health insurance, and they grant Amnesty to 15 million illegals. Then you will see that the "old fuddy-duddy right wingers" know what they are talking about. Weak talking points, like health insurance is not a right, open up state lines to stimulate competition, give tax credits to buy your own health insurance, the government not having the Constitutional authority to take over private business and to mandate you to buy insurance!

  • @09bassman

You forgot to say "Bleep, this is a recording" and then add the disclaimer: This message is brought to you by the insurance industry and is not a product of individuals who actualy think for themselves"

  • Yaaaaawn ... More scare tactics huh?

We lived in fear when bush was in office a tactic he and his merry band of war criminals were very good at.

You've neocon asshats have cried wolf too many times STFU.

  • Hannity inflates something else

    a blow up doll

  • I feel sorry for those protesters who don't realize that they're just being used by the republicans for political purposes.

  • I think in this case the insurance companies bypassed the Republican Party and used think tanks like CEI and AFP to organize the Tea Party protests. A few Republican opportunists have climbed aboard, but I think the majority of Republicans are keeping quiet, hoping that this all goes away. This Tea Party movement will only drive a wedge in the right, to the benefit of the Democrats.

  • As usual. How the fuck do they get away with this?

  • actualy, 20-45 thousand people is not a big protess, it just sounds big because they are not comparing it to the size of the nation :S

  • yeah 300 million

  • yeah right, wow fuck Fauxnews.

  • Ok, I was waiting to hear the level of the lie, and, of course, I was not disappointed. They swung for the fences, F-it, lets claim 20K.

Wow, I watched coverage of this event, and it was MAYBE 3K, and that's beign tremendously generous.

I loved the people you find at these things who have no health insurance. Their freedom to get sick and die is very important to them.

Everything, dumbed down to a level of infantile "fair" and "not fair". Response to every question: freedom.

  • "The American people don't want this."

Sorry pal, but you're a bit out of touch with reality.

The American people voted in Obama based on his promise of health care reform.

  • I'm surprised at the number of people in the crowd that look as if they're in disguise. I know it's the republican party so I don't expect them to have taste. But it looks like they hit every used wig flea market on I-80.

  • WOW less than 4000 people equals over 20000 to conservatives... that means that if they don't know basic common sense, how in the hell can they run their party: even worst how can they aspire to run the govt?

  • In all fairness, they may have decided to count the voices in the heads of those 4000 people as additional individuals...

  • So if they decided to count voices in their heads, how many did they count in Michele "Anti-American" Bachmann's head alone?

  • And while they were there teabagging it... we have had over 120,000 folks sign a petition. I am pretty sure there are more of us. LOL

  • omg.. have these morons never been to a fucking football game? look around the stadium.. that's 40,000 people. that's what 40,000 looks like. people have to be arranged vertically, that's how big 40,000 is. how could these idiots be this willfully ignorant?

  • Your guess is as good as mine. I personally think that maybe they count all the folks 3 times.

  • one pot belly, each sagging butt-cheek.. that's three right there. and don't forget all of those supporters dressed as trees and bushes

  • yeah they determined the count by weight.

  • I signed that petition and called my congressman and I've urged all my progressive friends to do the same... This gathering of numb skulls is clearly ASTRO TURF...

Conservatives are just trying to spin shit into gold...

There talking points are so weak...

  • Yeah I know. I am not even worried about them. They may be loud and obnoxious but they are no match for those of us who are actually taking real action to accomplish this.

  • Fox News Inflated the crowd estimate? No way, they would never do that! Never in a million, make it billion years! (Sarcasm)

  • Dear Bachman,

You are an idiot. By simply supporting a position -- no matter how correct that position may be -- you make it seem wrong. Do your constituents a favor and keep your inarticulate mouth closed

  • Wait until Glen Beck is around, his University of I dont know will beef up the number to 1.2 million people at least.

  • We can learn one thing from this, conservatives have no mathematical ability what so ever and cannot be trusted when numbers are involved with decision making.

The right wing is out in left field...

  • Michelle Bachman might get her power through lying to the media but she will burn in hell in the afterlife. She ia an awful opportunist who is more than willing to destroy America for her own personal ambitions.

  • all the GOP has left are lies

  • Here is some inflated numbers for you, the average IQ of repugnates is 85! Now that is how you inflate numbers!!!

  • And your a fucking fish!!! LMFAO!!! Get a fucking helmet assclown!

  • says the man on the short bus

  • Sorry there aquaload didn't realize you are mentally handicapped.

  • This is a lie, there were at least 10 billion.

  • lol

  • >"GOPers Inflate Tea Party Crowd Size Numbers Again"

    FTFY.
