Lets just be honest, most of the problems with the pc.............is the dumb ass user, that clicks on everything and does not understand the fact that in doing so and signing up to lots of random shit fucks with your system. At first these mac ads piss me off but you know what let Apple take all the retards. Less for us pc users to deal with :D
@GarabatoxTut I know many that uses linux for making music. Where you would put software like Mixxx, Rosengarden,Hydrogen,Ardour, LMMS, MusE, QTracktor,Breakage... there is even a free addon for audacity that does the same job as Autotune. So, do you still think In linux can't be made good music because open source doesn't has high paid programmers to make high quality software?
@MrShoy Yes, you can make good music. But not professional music :). That's the difference. Good and professional are not the same.
Maybe linux it's good for amateurs DJs, but not for professionals. So if the guy on the video is a professional musician, ... Nope, you can't do it with Linux :).
@GarabatoxTut Okay, I believe that maybe you are right, but, who judge if it's Pro or just amatorial? If your music is professional means people pays you lot of money and so you can afford anything you need to make better music, but.. I don't think scratches music is Professional..
@GarabatoxTut I just re-listened to this video, and he clearly says: I record my scratchies, then arrange them(and save em as an audio format) are you saying I can't do the same as he just said on fedora for example? recording an audio with audacity, or any other software I cited before and then arrange them(audacity can) and save it.
@resdudeornardude Can, but do it terribly. And most definitely not for cheaper, the point is that the stuff comes free on the Mac and its user friendly, on a PC you would have to buy something way expensive to make what a Mac can for free.
What I've observed in 14 years as an IT professional is that: If you prefer Windows over Mac OS then you're NOT a Mac user. If you hate Windows and prefer Mac OS it's because you ARE a Windows user.
I am a Tech Lead of C#.Net, LAMP and multimedia programmers. We work with Windows, Mac OS, Linux and Unix.
@fallenram1 You can't bundle every person into that category, your simple mindedness shows your immaturity with subjects like these, there are deeper causes, some related to how Mac users know shit all about PC's and claim that there PC blows up on them, when in reality, they're the ones who f*cked around not knowing what they were doing, and some PC users don't like being told what there OS should do, they like changing stuff, something Macs OS rarely lets you do.
Yes, by all means little sheep. Continue spending thousands of dollars more than I ever will. All exclusively for the ever so strenuous task of going to cnet, reading software reviews and downloading it. If this kid is merely using a computer as a recording instrument macintosh and Windows based machines are the same.
Yup, either Control + Click or use Apple's Mighty Mouse (or any USB two button mouse) to bring up the right click menu. And at least my MacBook wasn't bundled with a million pieces of third party software which would cease to work after 30 days or something cruddy like that! iLife is awesome on so many levels. I <3 my MacBook
oh an idiot pc user how come most people use mac for muic and stuff and if you tell me all 500000 pices of software that are out for the pc then ill belive you garageband is still my favorite and final cut pro
I use both.. both crash or freeze up... but MACs have a solid interface and PC's allow the freedom... so its up to what you want in the end...Apple will be around though and they have style
u guys r idiots i been using a mac all my life then i try use some pc 'apparntly' better than my own computer it carashes when loading up i been using a mac for around 8 years never crashed once even when i had some old old one 12 mb hard drive 2b ram didnt crash then admit it pc sucks ass
One way to make people listen to your group is to not insult them. When you do, they are more likely to stick to their side. Debate 101. Learn it. :-)
Maybe the problem of the PC crashing could your fault. Hate to say it, but many times when something went wrong with my PC it was my own fault and nothing to do with the PC itself.

@GarabatoxTut I would imagine that good sound engineers would have their own custom OS built on a Linux backbone?

I like all these mac switch ads that say they are doing mostly media related stuff. Stuff the PC can do and for cheaper.

@starkid423 I can torrent your crappy os and run all of your programs on my custom built computer that costs about $400 less than a mac book pro.

@Codex282 Ok, good luck, have fun.
But if you think its crappy....why would you torrent it on your $600 piece of crap?
