@mattmnz No No No airplay for these guys. They are too good for that crap. I will kill myself the day they play on a radio stations. We dont any indie trendies listening to them.
I've often wondered why this didn't become a bigger hit, because this is easily my favorite song off their album (I still remember the first time I heard this on Jimmy Fallon).
Anyway, am I the only one who thinks it's ironic that they are preforming in a church?
do you have sand in you vagina? i was stating facts, he's gay, the church does not take kindly to homosexuals. i listen grizzly bear and don't really see anything wrong with homosexuals so you might not wanna jump the gun so quick
this short tempered person didn't know why it was ironic (or prob just wanted to argue with someone), why don't you look where all these responses came from?
Wow! I am most jealous of you, you got to see them live and up close. I'd definitely go see them live if they came to my state, but they're not. I love how the church's acoustics allow the song to resemble the sound we hear in the album. Most impressive, indeed. One thing I didn't know is that Chris Bear sings the "I'm shooting them myself" part, well, now I know.
This is the first song on my agenda when i get a sampling machine. I want to make a remix and send it to them. Grizzly Bear is my heros of music right now (conventional anyhow) I just don't feel like other bands are as good nowadays. <3 Grizzly Bear
It's hard to do justice to this song live without the Brooklyn Girls Choir, who are on the album version. Maybe Ed can play a tape like Bradford Cox does for Saved By Old Times.
I don't think it's "I'm shooting them myself" ..
More like "I'm cheerleading myself", thus the title of the song?

this is an amazing tune. the live version doesn't really do the recording credit though.. feels a bit more empty live.

look up the jimmy kimmel live version. I saw it in HD, with surround sound. The sound was gorgeous.
