Not only are you correct, but now I'm confused as to why I would have even begun to confused this piece for Mozart. I must have been drinking or something because my comment is stupid as hell. Also, just noticing I spelled "Mozart" incorrectly as well, and I know better than that. I had to have been drunk. My apologies to the music world I know and love.
Ah, the pipe organ music bodes well for this anime. Too bad I don't know what it's about - I only know seven kanji: sun, moon, night, the void, person, god, and the possessive. (Guess which three of those are most commonly doodled in my margins. Hint: it's not a compliment. But I digress.) I probably wouldn't like the blond girl in the sun dress, but ah well.
ok... i want to donwload this music by keishi yonao but i can't.... someone can tell me were i can download it PLEASE :(((( HHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPPPP...............
Sorry for not noticing about these things (I just noticed theres a handy little mail thingy up there for people who reply!) But almost 50-70% of Japanese writing is in fact Chinese Characters. Soooo yeah, it wouldnt really help to JUST know japanese hiragana/katakana.
You'd get more of an idea than if you JUST knew hiragana/katakana. That's only like the transitional words. But the big words like school bus went school would mostly be writted in chinese character.
For your information, Mozart was born 27 January 1756 -- 5 December 1791, He could not possibly have composed Dies Irae, Kyrie, Tuba Mirum, Rex Tremendae, Recordare, Confutatis and Lacrimosa. They all existed before his time. The earliest they were being sung is by the monks sometime before 524. They had a different way of notation (called neumes instead of notes). Mozart may have used the traditional latin lyrics in his mass, but he did not create them.
Nobody did, that would have been secular and 'evil'. The lyrics were from the bible and were always latin. If they were anything else it was secular and unacceptable. Mozart borrowed the lyrics and the name of the song, giving it a new melody, for his version. Nobody can ever claim composition of any latin chants, the original singers were monks, but even they cannot claim creation. So, Englandpleasent (and anyone who might agree in saying Mozart is the composer), you are -wrong-.
hahha, I'm not saying that Mozart composed the Lyrics!haha. I speak latin, and I know the requiem and solemnis mass in latin! i've seen the Scores of the Mozart's requiem. He composed until the second line of Lacrymosa.
Its kinda funny to see people say that this game is for losers. It actually has a story along with some more mature content for people. Its the same as any movie that has some random scene where the main character gets laid by some women he meets while trying to save the world. oh yea, btw, im one of those people who will be importing this game from japan. the japanese make games that aren't mainstream in america, so most of the people who bashed this game are ignorant.
...And if you're smart you'll no need to know japanese to see the section to download the song from many mirrors, this song was compossed merely for the porpouse of this game so donnot think (like me) that it was a piece of classical (or baroque) music.
...Aditionally it appears to be some epic genre of game involving the nazi germany and manga/anime characters style. To visit the official site press the link that appears in the description. There you cna visit the downloads section...
Don't worry brothers, I, Darkluniux will answer these questions. First of all Dies Irae means day of wrath (I'll not be say very much because you surely know it already just for being in this page). As I have searched, this is some kind of PC game in Japan...
dood, this is totally weird...but strangely awesome too. seriously, though, what anime is this, is it an anime at all??? sounds like castlevania, in a way.
BEAUTIFUL!
No doubt, Mozart was one of the first or even the very first Rock Musician.ok.:-D

This is actually pretty good, but the fact that you confused this with Mozarts Requiem Mass in D Minor is insulting

No. This is from a game soundtrack, the Requiem you are talking about is Requiem Mass in D Minor K.626 by Mozart.
>:| DO NOT confuse the two. Ever.

@VKatze, please where could I listen to the original? (I don't mean performed by Mozart himself, though:)

Dies Irae is a old Catholic chant. Mozart did use it in his mass, but it was not composed by him.

XxxxxXjuggaloXxxxxX 4 years ago
No! Mozart composed the first part of His Requiem: requiem aeternam, Kyrie, Dies Irae, tuba Mirum, Rex tremendae, Recordare, Confutatis and Lacrymosa.
The second part was composed by Franz Xaver Süssmayer: Domine Jesu, Hostias, Sanctus, Benedictus, agnus dei and Lux aeterna.
Have a good day, mate!
