  • what year was this performance awesome!!!!! Love RP!!!!

  • Thank you bococonnor for all the wonderful Robert Palmer. To all the Palmer fans: Happy New Year and keep his music playing! Maybe one day his talent will be known by many more and in the Hall of Fame.

    Blessings to all!

  • I agree with all of you. The man was so talented at song writing, preforming, great voice. I so wish we could have had him around longer. He was fasinating how he could also sing some cover songs and they sometimes sounded better than the originals. I almost have all his CDs. Still waiting to find my favorite though, Rhythm and Blues. Some great songs on this CD. Stone Cold is on this CD.

  • ...you know I'm amazed at my own ignorance. I didn't discover the variety and profound depth of Robert Palmer music until after his death. This song is wonderful. I use to get teased by my cousins for listening to "white" music, so I guess I shied away. I agree with galover89. He appears to have had a fascinating life. To have successfully crossed so many genres, it's amazing. Only a few artist can claim the honor. He's mesmerizing, I can't believe he's not in the R n R Hall of fame.

  • Robert Palmer wrote this song. He was described by someone who worked with him as a "music scientist" because he took song writing as seriously as he did singing; as is reflected in this beautiful, soulful piece of musical poetry. Yes, the man could do it ALLl! So sad that we will never know what else he could have achieved because of his untimely death; gone much too soon. Sleep well now, dear Robert, you will never be forgotten. ❤♫•*¨*•.¸¸❤♪♫•*¨*•☆♫♫

  • Such a great performer! It seems that someone would put out a credible biography about this man and his extensive body of work. I can find virtually nothing except these videos -which I'm grateful for - but I would like to know more about Robert Palmer, the man.

  • What can one say about him? Quirky and brilliant, suave and sexy, a style icon with a voice unparalleled...Robert Palmer was THE man! His ability to convey raw, honest emotion has keep me interested in his music for the last 30 years. Would love to have another 30 years of his incredible performances but, sadly, that is not to be. Rest in peace dear, sweet Robert. ❤♪♫•*¨*•.¸☆★☆❤♫•*¨*•,¸¸❤

  • He is mesmerizing - this song grabs you and doesn't let go - he makes you feel every word and sentiment being conveyed - great performance, too - thank you, Robert, for your class, style and talent.

  • The man was pure class! I just want to watch this over and over. He is looking and sounding great. Really nice song, even nicer man. Losing him prematurely was such a tremendous loss but I am thankful for his music ... which will live on forever. Robert was the best!
