@SarahSmith666 no hero of mine, but they had guts. as the story goes. maybe it was all made up. the pictures of the dead boddies doesn't look like the pictures of the living persons. how can that be? why would someone or a group of people make up such a story?
@theratfarmer The story of B&C is true but it has been glamourized over the years - mainly by the 1967 film. B&C is undoubtedly fascinating because of the era and they looked cool. but if they were modern day killers you would see them for what they are..
no cabe duda que hasta en mexico se a tomado como ejemplo a esta pareja de criminales americanos famosos.conosco a una parejita que dejaron todo para lanzarse a la aventura
if ya look at the tombstone at the end you will see that it is rounded from being chipped away. its trully a sad thought to think that people take a souvinier with them just to have a part of somebody who lived long ago. ive been to pretty boy floyds grave here in oklahoma and his familly told me that they have replaced his stone four times so far because of hunters who seek something that really has nothing to do with the person themself if you think about it. godbless. rip

@automaticchic im related to them i swear on my life so u can ask me about them i dont know much just some stuff but i could ask my family but im related to them soo yeah just ask me stuff
Amateur thieves, Cold blooded killers,Human garbage.....who left behind a sea of misery to the families of their victims.Fuck Bonnie and Clyde. They should be remembered as spree killers like Alton Coleman or Starkweather and their girlfriends.
If you are proud to be a Barrow i hope it is because your parents were good and decent people who raised you to live a decent life and adhere to the "golden rule" and not because you are related to a murdering psychopath who gained undeserved posthumous celebrity by being glamorized and humanized by one of Hollywood`s heavyweights in what was otherwise a tremendous film. Clyde was no fucking good and you do yourself a disservice if you are proud of Clyde and the human misery that he caused.
He's a good part of history. A lot of the past has to deal with him, if not we might not have been as far advanced as we are with the justice system we are today. He was NOT a psychopath. HE was not like the killer in SAW I II II... ect.
If you go back to my original post, i compared him to real psychopaths Alton Coleman and Charles Starkweather, not make believe wackos. Clyde`s only positive contribution to history was that the public saw the need for stronger national and state police forces so that they could deal quickly with punks with guns and cars.
They were NOT punks. They actually did a bit of good. But, of course, history is told by the side of the law. By how my father told me, stories, they sounded more like robin hood.
Look kid, you are 25 years old. The truth is at your fingertips. They killed 12 innocent men for a few dollars. Do you realize how many lives were ruined ? how many widows and fatherless children that they created in the Depression? This was before social security . They were good for nothing and nobody. Wake up and smell the coffee. As a kid , Clyde got in trouble for torturing animals and children. Give it up man, he was white trash at its worst.
1, I'm not a man, 2, say what ever you want, he was far from trash. History is only told from the winning side, the only way they got them was assasination or now adays it would be getting jumped.
He was exterminated not assassinated, important people are assassinated. Bonnie and Clyde were put down like a mad dog. They got the justice that they deserved. It`s too bad that it came after the death of a dozen innocent people lost their lives to these animals.
There is no perfect person and i am not even close but i have not robbed or murdered 13 people either.... in fact not a single murder or robbery......... so when it comes to having a felony arrest record, the answer is no. I am perfect in that regard.
Robin hood took away from the bad guys and gave to the good guys.
Bonnie and Clyde were on a rampage and it didn't matter to them who dies in their wake. They were crooks, killed people so they could have lavish breakfast and fancy clothes.
Glorifying their exploits is like spitting on the graves of the people they murdered.
Somehow we still love em,why? because people hate banks for screwing people over ,even now.And we all have a little bad in us. and yes like most back than, they was not standing in some soup line or starving to death. And true Police officers do not get enough credit for the jobs they do for such little pay they recieve.Even as a correctional officer who worked in a max prison i wonder,is there any real justice ?and all the corruption inside the system, sad.female officers having sex with inmates
I love how you sing that song, Bonnie and Clyde is my fave i know people will be against me loving this story but it really interests me and fasinates me, i am gonna buy the book... i know killing isnt right and i dont like it myself but i cant help my self i am so in to crime stories and murder mysteries its not the killing that interests me its the investiagting and other things that do... Bonnie and Clyde are legends...
actually clyde killed thirteen people. bonnie didnt shoot anyone. and they were just one of many gangs on the public enemy era during the great depression fed up of being poor.
i dont know much of Clydes actions. all i hope is he never killed a down and wounded man unless he was being shot at by that wounded man. Clyde had to survive, so i wouldnt blame him in a case like that.
You are a moron..... you must love those 50`s westerns where you don`t shoot a guy in the back and don`t draw until the other guy does first....... You wouldn`t blame him for defending himself?...... He wouldn`t have to defend himself if he didn`t start robbing and shooting innocent people.
Thanks for the video. And thanks for telling us things about them that most of us didn't know. And thanks for not trying to glorifying them, and thanks for the song too.
Ronnie, Great singing on this song. I grew up in Bienville Parish, Louisiana and heard the story of Bonnie and Clyde from my grandparents that lived down the road from the Methvin's family house which was one of the hideouts.
