  • To me John Howard is nothing more than a vile & depraved creature who had no boundaries when it came to furthering his own agenda. Certainly human life meant nothing to him when he inflicted incalculable suffering on the Tampa refugees. Slander and libel was second nature when he lied about the children overboard. His almost hyper enthusiastic support & participation of George Bush's criminal invasion of Iraq & sociopathic disregard of Iraqis slaughtered for Oil is proof of his true evil nature.

  • wow a fucking show for hippies and boaties who could be bothered watching the shit.

  • Mmm, either way. Howard didn't kill Iraqis. We were there to get Saddam who was. We did that. Job done, maybe we're overstaying? Who knows. Simple fact is there's a lot more to this war than we'll ever know and I simply choose to believe the bloke running my country has a little more insight into it than we do, like c'mon.

  • Howard the traitor.

That's how he'll be remembered here.

A traitor who couldn't even play cricket.

  • @Dalmes666 As i said saddam was a criminal and should be punished, no doubt about that but so should the criminals who supplied him with those weapons in first place. When it suited your big boss (US), the crimes commited by saddam during iran iraq war were ignored and not even mentioned but since he went bit crancky and stopped listening he was bombed and killed along with millions of innocent civilians. Since saddam got what he deserved, so should bush & you are a hypocrite & Islamophobe.

  • @shedkad , Totally right too. But along with Bush, both Howard & Blair should be put on trial for war crimes and criminal theft. The lies of George Bush were not only amplified by John Howard, they were also imprinted into the history of Australia and lasting shame has now a part of this good country's history. John Howard has disgraced Australia permanently just as Pauline Hanson has. This is such a sad thing and I hope one day that people can feel proud of Australia again.

  • Even if Saddam was born 10 more times, he could not had been able to kill the number of people which Bush-Toni-Howard have killed in Iraq

  • does that guy wanna handbag with that arm

  • Man I tell you what, you people all talk out of your asses, you guys are all ignorant and have no clue aye. You all suckle from the teat of the media and voice our stupid opinions elsewhere. Maybe base some opinion on fact next time aye. In face when it's your turn to run the country then you can grasp the gravity of the decisions made, until then just get a clue man. But I hell do wish that guy was a better shot, because it was pretty fucking funny.

  • @Dalmes666

I love your comment; rational argument is so overrated these days.

  • if only he was a better shot!

  • Hippy dude thinks violence is wrong and proves it by throwing shoes at someone's head. Way to keep the moral highground.

  • And no need for one of these rubbish replies. You'll just be accusing another guy of not knowing shit and how your opinion rules all blah blah. We need you in the PM seat or the Foreign affairs minister seat. The world will be a better place!

  • Are you Peter gray's manager or something? What a lame pile of shit. Your response to weetbix08 is crap as well won't bother reading some tripe reply from someone who can't even spell or use correct grammar. The fact is a judgment call was made at the time. While not popular it was the safe option. If he had decided the other way anything could have happened.

  • The Wikileaks report would suggest that the best way to free a nation from a fundamentalist dictator is by murdering its people and telling everyone to be proud about it, because it's the right thing to do!

  • Hes some Ballistic hippy with a fixed mind. He is no hero. You need to be safe, and if that emans going to look for yourself then so be it.

  • Wait, why did we go after Saddam on suspicion that he was building weapons of mass destruction, and not North Korea who actually did build weapons of mass destruction?

  • The caption of this video is a fucking joke. You're a fucking idiot.

  • @shedkad ....

    brainwashed.

  • lame

  • no offence to the dude that made this but im pretty sure that it was saddam who did most of the crimes

  • @Themalable Saddam got what he deserved for his crimes and rightly so. Will Bush, Howard, Blair and now Obama get what they deserve? Humanity is global and justice is blind, regardless of the criminal or the crimes he has commited, each one should be punished.

  • Tubewatcher8899, if saddam tortured and killed thousands , the troops have killed hundreds and thousands more innocent people, over a war that should'nt of happened, they were after the leader they got him , what else do they want ..

  • @MrLwiss under saddams command its believed he killed in excess of 100 000 people, 61 000 people were killed at one time in baghdad. in vengance and pure sadistic nature, for no reason at all except he could. when civillians were killed whilst australia tried to free iraq they did not die in vein, for there country became free of such tyranny. the troops did not kill them in cold blood. such an accusation even you must have known was fucking stupid as you typed it. well done hero.

  • @weetbix08 And you, my dear sir, is a follower of the Government and is that who takes cannot make your own personal opinion. Question: Have you read the files on Wikileaks? No, it isn't false and isn't fabricated, it's the truth. For the least, Saddam did what he believed was right for a world he envisioned that was better for the people, unlike the US who supplied him with the weapons and Australia who went in there torturing and killing more innocent lives than saving them.

  • Whoever made this video is a complete ignoramous. Saddam killed and tortured thousands of his own people!!!! Treated them like animals......US and Australia have made some mistakes but the underlying intent is one of good towards fellow human beings, and protecting us from evil dictators that want to kill and enslave!!!

  • Dont you guys find it funny that Kiwis have a problem with term "brave" ? I mean how many times do you hear Kiwis having any opinion or say in the world affairs?

  • 'Brave aussie', more like cocky idiot. Civilian casualties are an unavoidable result of war. The fact is that a large number of iraqi's welcomed the invasion (especially the shiite). It was only when militants and terrorists got into the country did things go backwards.

I think it is insensitive to put up pictures of bloodied children from Iraq without a proper context.

  • When watching this I cant help but notice that the bloke asking the question had his hand up before Howard had even answered the question. If your not prepared to hear a complete answer, don't ask questions in the first place, this is simply how proper discussion happens. Furthermore, rowan226 points out a clear, indisputable fact. How many people suffered with Saddam in power? Particularly the Sunnis. The war itself had considerable casualties fro something conducted by 1st world, it was needed

  • Whoever made this is an idiot. Brave aussie my arse, if he was a brave aussie he would be over in iraq actually doing something. Sadam needed to go, even if there were no weapons of mass destruction. I wonder how many children have suffered because of him?

  • The guy did ask some good questions.

Shame he stuffed it by losing his temper.

  • okay and now to the fuckwit who made the video how about you show the footage of sadam mass murdering is own people and entire villages all in chemical warfare testing. your a nob if you think iraq was fine by itself, fucking hippy eat a dick

  • @weetbix08 who gave saddam those weapon you dumb fuck, you better go on a piss and not worry about foreign affairs, you definately have no freakin idea.

  • @shedkad not john howard you retarded fuck, i guarantee i know more than you when it comes to world affairs and australia's decision to go to iraq was purely to end saddams reign, hence why australia at the same time invaded Afghanistan to put an end to terror in the middle east, i bet your a muslism that probably condones the so called freedom fighting! your just a brainwashed arsehole

  • @weetbix08 the bix got dissssssssss

  • @weetbix08 , When Saddam killed Iraqis much of the killing was done with weapons sold to him by the British & the Americans. The US almost stuck up for Saddam when he gassed the Kurds.

  • WHERE'S THE APPLAUSE FOR THE THROW?

  • People find it so easy to pass judgement on to others. I feel sorry for John Howard, he is a decent man who was put in a VERY difficult situation with the Iraq War. How do you determine that fate of the World between taking the risk of Millions of potential lives lost to Weapons of Mass Destruction and the loss of a few thousand lives that could potentially save the lives of Millions? For all you ppl that think John was wrong, what if they had been right and a Nuclear Weapon was dropped?

  • "Listen, let's just remain calm" Haha well handled Johny Boy

  • Brave Aussie? What a wanker! He obviously thought he would be cool but he's a wanker!

  • How could you remain calm when so many people have been tortured and killed, this guy Howard has no soul.

  • @imamfollower

No, the soldiers responsible for doing such acts have no soul. John howard was forced into a damned if you do, damned if you don't political situation, and had the guts to actually make a tough political decision. As far as I'm concerned, he was undeserving of it.

  • Ah...another hippy who is anti-war but not anti-violence. (Hence his obvious love of terrorists and dictators).

    Nice throw, swampy! :-P

  • I cannot understand how people can be blaming John Howard for the war in Iraq. Saddam threw out weapons inspectors. He was the dictator, he was the murderer and now that he is out of the picture the world and Iraq safer. Much of the problems in Iraq now are the insurgents - those anarchists and invaders that kill Iraqui police and politicians. This guy would be an insurgent if he could. "FIghting for Iraq" and in the process killing and opressing the Iraquis that seek to make it a free coun

  • @22janx I cannot understand how can you even come closer to justifying the war using "saddam" argument. Dont forget most of the crimes saddam did during his time in power was under full supervision, blessing and at times cohersion of US and its allies. The chemical weapons he used against kurds and Shiites were to a large extent provided to him by US and its allies. He was only punished because he no longer served US interest.

  • @shedkad im in a rush so excuse the grammar etc, but the movements in Iraq taking place right now are just in the overall perspective of things, however as John admits the implementation of the war has been the biggest international bungle of the millenium.

The plight of the Iraqi people is real, however trying to forcefully push things along with an iron fist with no real plan of self reliance of Iraq being the final objective has made the war a cotastrophe

  • @22janx "Fighting for Iraq" and in the process killing and opressing the Iraquis that seek to make it a free coun...''

Mate, you're just one of the millions you have no idea what has actually been happening there for all these years.

If you think the idea of some American units inducting their soldiers by having them kill an Iraqi civilian sounds ludicrous....think again.

Some atrocities that coalition forces have committed in Iraq are simply horrific

  • @22janx John howard murdered more than Saddam Hussein

base on false allegation and he lives with blood on his hands. He not gonna go to court because he is taking double standard.Ask Howard does he dare to go to court?Saddam Hussein invaded another country for USA and using US made chemical weapons, maps & guns.

  • Only a dickhead would think that's a brave aussie. As a fellow Aussie:

    1. Aussies are not brave. they're just stupid which means they are incapable of working out danger either implicity or explicitly. Don't mistake idiocy for bravery.

    2. If this 'brave' Aussie truly denounces violence, then why throw shoes around? Absolutely stupid. He just played into my stereotype of fellow Aussies - namely, instinctively violent and instinctly stupid.

No, the modern Aussie is into grandstanding.

  • @youie66 You should read some comments here, i am sure it will give immense amount of boost to your stereotype of fellow Aussies.

  • @youie66 ? Sweet stereotype faggot

  • @nickgibson96 hee..hee...LOL! You must be Australian because of your highly intellectual and intricate response! hee...hee....I can't stop laughing....

  • @youie66 Cool man, Australians are just the same as Americans you jackass

  • @youie66 Oh, and grow a sack
