lol, 2 all stars from the West went over to the East (Garnett and Allen. That gives them a huge advantage over us) I don't know who we're going to get now. We got Shaq back in the West, but he's like 40 already, no one even cares about him. lol

I love ray allen, he played extremely well in this game. But well Lebron earned MVP i think he deserved it. No matter how many points he scored, lebron started and played 30 minutes. That means he played defense for 30 minutes.

and Ray Allen doesn't play defense? you might want to check with Kobe about Ray Allen's defensive abilities. LBJ did play really well. . . . but Ray played WAY better, and WAY more efficient.

im a huge ray allen fan but i can admit that lebron deserved the MVP more. He was better than ray allen and had a better stat line. Ray Allen jus had 1 more point than LJ, that doesn't get enough to win MVP

are you trying to tell that since LBJ as a forward got more rebounds that he deserved MVP over a player who put up more points, took less shots, and was clutch in the 4th and lead the comeback and win for the East?

LBJ didn't deserve the MVP he just got it handed to him, because he is the overhyped media baby.
LBJ is a forward, he is SUPPOSED to have more rebounds and assists. Ray is a SHOOTING guard.

ray allen scored 1 more pt in 11 less minutes because all he was doing was scoring. The mvp doesn't always go to the player that scores the most..and why should allen get the mvp because he won the game for the east. the mvp isn't about winning, its about who has the best performance and that was lebron.
and how did lebron get handed the mvp? Everyone who watched the allstar game knows that lebron clearly deserved it, ur the only whose arguing about this

because he DIDN'T have the best performance. He got outproduced by Ray when the game was on the line.
so your telling me that an MVP fades into the backround when the game is on the line? that an MVP misses the majority of his shots? That chokes and can't make the points when they are vital?
i'm sorry, but MVP has a LOT to do with winning, a LOT to do with being clutch, and a LOT to do winning the game when it was out of hand.
Ray came through on ALL of those counts. LBJ didn't.

It was handed to him because he didn't deserve it. he scored 90% of his points in the early part of the game when NOBODY was really trying to stop him (1st half). most of his stats are from the early parts of the game, and if you actually paid attention to the game you would know that. It is common knowledge that all-star games don't get serious till the 3rd,4thquarters.
When the West got serious, LBJ faded away. And Ray stepped up, THAT is the definition of the MVP.

it doesn't matter that he scored early in the game. Lebron still deserved it over ray allen. The MVP is about who plays the best and has the best performance. Its not all about scoring either. Ry Allen was just scoring while lebron was getting rebounds and assists. Ray Allen was just good in the last 3 mins. of the game, thats not enough to win MVP.

excuse me? he was just good in the last 3 minutes? so he scored all 29 of his points in 3 minutes? don't be stupid. Ray was GOLD for EVERY MINUTE he was in. . .unlike LBJ. and LBJ only got assists because he was kicking it to Ray because he couldn't score.
LBJ didn't have the best performance, if you ACTUALLY watched the game (I know that's too much to ask some) he had a great 1st half, and SUCKED in the 2nd.
so yes, Ray taking over when it mattered DOES deserve an MVP. that is what MVPs do!

Lebron wouldnt of won the game for them tho, W/O ray in the all star game, and the finals or even the last 2 games in the conf finals. The Celts and All star teams wouldnt of won their games. He put both teams over the edge. Their's no matchup for a a PURE shooter
