I always assume the slippers didn't disappear because they were a gift from her fairy godmother and not a transformed object...? Like her rags turned into a gown, pumpkin into carriage, etc.... but she was barefoot when the spell was cast and so the shoes just appeared as a gift that wouldn't disappear...
