I am a small biz owner that appreciates the 8 new tax cuts passed by democrats that has helped many small private individually owned biz in this country to expand and it the reason we have had job gains instead of losses for well over a year now. And the new healthcare tax credits for small biz along with the exchanges will allow us to guy ins. for the same discounted rates large corps have always gotten will be very helpful.

@guitarhaus You need to do some comparisons to previous recessions and unemployment. Under Reagan recession his second year not his first unemployment went to 10,8% for 2 months , stayed over 10% for 10 months and took 19 months to get below 9%. Job contraction for this recession began at the end of 2005 and escalated until it reached as high as 757,000 a month before Obama, . That is far too many job losses for to many years to turn that around in a hurry.
@barsense Actually the rate went down overall during his Presidency by 2.1%. But what he did to lower the rate, to deregulate virtually everything and his being a puppet to the large corporations made his decisions good for short term growth but in reality a lot of what he did is causing the problems today, a delayed effect. One of the first things Reagan did was remove the solar panels from the White House and give all his power to Oil, he was just a mouthpiece after all.

@barsense Adding to your point is the auto industry which in North America resides primarily in Canada and predominately because of the HC system there. Canada also enjoys far more foreign investment capital on a per capita basis for the same reason. Many large companies would come back to the USA under a single payer system, but the public option(the first step towards single payer was scraped) would need to be put back first.
@guitarhaus Small biz being able to purchase health insurance for the same discounted rates as large corps is a win win for biz owners and employees. Also when the exchanges kick in Congress is required to get their insurance from these same exchanges that are available to all Americans No better way than that to insure best prices and benefits than have our own lawmakers have to use the same as us.

Illegals are not eligible and just about every cost control method ever suggested by any economist that received high ratings were included in the reform bill. This a huge improvement. 62% of all bankrupties in this country were due to our failed healthcare system and this will resolve that issue.

In countries that have single payer HC like Canada, they are very happy since they pay nothing until they have profits over 400K(last check), only large companies match dollar for dollar. We are still not over the recession regardless of what anyone says , states are going to start cutting funding, raising taxes and /or fees and setting new fees to try and balance their budgets. I am a small biz owner that appreciates the 8 new tax cuts passed by democrats that has helped many small private individually owned biz in this country to expand and it the reason we have had job gains instead of losses for well over a year now. And the new healthcare tax credits for small biz along with the exchanges will allow us to guy ins. for the same discounted rates large corps have always gotten will be very helpful.

The facts do show unemployment is worse than it has ever been and this doesn't show the people that are not even a statistic anymore as they have exhausted all benifits. To argue with you is futile as we can go back and forth on all these issues but it seems all you are looking at is whats good for you instead of whats good for this country in the long run. @guitarhaus You need to do some comparisons to previous recessions and unemployment. Under Reagan recession his second year not his first unemployment went to 10,8% for 2 months , stayed over 10% for 10 months and took 19 months to get below 9%. Job contraction for this recession began at the end of 2005 and escalated until it reached as high as 757,000 a month before Obama, . That is far too many job losses for to many years to turn that around in a hurry.

@barsense Actually the rate went down overall during his Presidency by 2.1%. But what he did to lower the rate, to deregulate virtually everything and his being a puppet to the large corporations made his decisions good for short term growth but in reality a lot of what he did is causing the problems today, a delayed effect. One of the first things Reagan did was remove the solar panels from the White House and give all his power to Oil, he was just a mouthpiece after all.

@barsense Adding to your point is the auto industry which in North America resides primarily in Canada and predominately because of the HC system there. Canada also enjoys far more foreign investment capital on a per capita basis for the same reason. Many large companies would come back to the USA under a single payer system, but the public option(the first step towards single payer was scraped) would need to be put back first.

Also when the exchanges kick in Congress is required to get their insurance from these same exchanges that are available to all Americans No better way than that to insure best prices and benefits than have our own lawmakers have to use the same as us.

As far as insurance the people, the Families, we would be supporting all illegals and foreigners as they are exempt from this policy and we the taxpayers have to pay for it. Download the pdf at govtrack.,us and read the bill. Illegals are not eligible and just about every cost control method ever suggested by any economist that received high ratings were included in the reform bill. This a huge improvement. 62% of all bankrupties in this country were due to our failed healthcare system and this will resolve that issue.

@guitarhaus When Bush took office unemployment was at 4.2% and he drove it up over 3% to 7.4% when Obama took office. Since then it rose to a high of 10.1% and at last check was at 9.4%. Conclusion: for Obama to be AS BAD as Bush the rate would have to up 1.2% higher then it is today at 9.4%. If it does that then your complaint has credibility, until then these facts prove that you are incapable of simple research. Your second point is also completely wrong, and idiotic.

@barsense This is what this subject needs, people like you describing the real benefits that unfortunately the Democrats haven't and nobody knows about. I have read the bill and I can imagine that most small business owners are happy. In countries that have single payer HC like Canada, they are very happy since they pay nothing until they have profits over 400K(last check), only large companies match dollar for dollar. Canada's HC system is EXACTLY like America's except the insurance part.

We are still not over the recession regardless of what anyone says , states are going to start cutting funding, raising taxes and /or fees and setting new fees to try and balance their budgets. Also 2 yrs. is plenty of time for other countries to get way ahead of us in edu because we have been falling behind for 10

When Bush first talked about working towards the New World Order it scared me to, but I looked it up and It is not what some people are trying to make it out to be.
