I had this song stuck in my head for ages... days and days until I played my whole list of BOC yesterday and found it. This makes you think how weird memory works and how all of a sudden a melody gets stuck in your head and you don't know where it came from, although it was there all along.
@piccard1976 also I think I got it stuck in my head for so long because it's very easy to whistle... so I found myself whistling the main theme over and over . Does anyone else find this as well?
I remember hearing this song play at the Dolphin exhibit at the Brookfield zoo. I was like "no friggin way." Then I watched the dolphins swim through the little port holes with this as background music. Thank you Brookfield employee that likes BOC.
get stoned and thoughts turn abstract creating paths differently, linking original thought with otherwise unrelated stuff, but also it makes sense to whoevers thinking it. get lost inside your mind.
Does anyone have any idea what kind of synth starts out this song that makes that clicking sound? I've heard it in many songs by BoC, Squarepusher, µ-Ziq, etc, I think they use some kind of sine wave-based synth.
ách...its amazing piece of work...slow..easy to hear...simple.....sounds flow trought enternity..only you and youre own word of imagination and knowledge..like cosmos it self smiling on u......
@delta0921 yeah, it's like a electrified gas cloud that says over and over, we're doing it, exploding outward, all of us are flinging toward our dusty oblivion. but just sit back and enjoy the music of course.
thats not weird bro. thats just down right disturbing. those are cases of boys who werent hugged enough in their childhood. then grow up as awkward individuals who keep women in their basement for 20 yrs.
@broadcastmyass4u There are other websites designed specifically to recieve this type of complaint. Granted, there's no one on the other end, but no amount of ego buffing is going to help you. Get a job working for the city; if the convicts can do it, I'm sure you can.
@broadcastmyass4u It's not mandatory. Playing the void soul is a sad and decrepit state of being; for the sake of this ambience, silence your wimpers. Music can heal, if you shut up and listen. As for your situation, it's a hard knock life, kid. Those who are privelaged to be starved of the light are the only ones who truly know it's beauty. However, if you cast your gaze into the void, the void will gaze into you. If self-pity is your game, self-destruction will be your name.
i think the video has some really pretty and interesting clips, but their rhythm and aura just don't show consistent sensitivity to the music, thought there are times---just by accident?
my god, boc creates such an emotion with me every time i listen. its a music i will never grow old of. this song strikes me as a perfect reflection of my childhood. i know that that is a common statement by boc fan's, but its the truth. when i first heard boc (kid for today being the first), i downloaded various songs and made a mix cd. oirectine (or directine as i had thought) will always remind me of late night drive on a warm summer night. absolutely beautiful music through and through!
@guitarhead429 Well many people in this world are brainwashed and listen to what they are told to listen to. If you haven`t heard much BoC, check out ``See ya Later`` by them. I find it gives off a similar vibe.
I kinda liked it, footage seems to be in contrast to the track a little bit and play somewhere apart from it...gives it a quite unique atmosphere - of course a great track by boc, the whole twoism is a very deep experience
The content of the video was interesting... with the music, it pulled me in (yay for trippy music xD) but it seemed to be about how transportation and stuff was polluting the environment. :o

@CliveSinclairZX God I just imagined it. I need a big 1970's Chrysler sedan (not a muscle-car), a tape with this song and... yeah, like a highway.
