  • LOOOOOL

  • If you want to hear some amazing drumming with lots of varied time signatures, listen to Protest the Hero.

  • I was about say the rhythm guitar sounds way off-tempo with the drums, but I think the other comments state that rather clearly. Good try though! :D

  • @LinkinPk1fan

Thanks for the input. Yea, some parts are iffy, but let it be known that this was my first/second attempt at even using the software. Plus I don't play the drums but I feel like I have a good grasp. Basically I was just having fun making a blazing fast drum backing and got carried away. Some more practice and I think I can make a good song using my own riffs, which I have plenty off. :)

  • No offense or whatever, i mean i LOVE the song itself, the whole idea of it, but the guitar recording quality sucks, mic it up to an SM57 or something like guitar rig, and if anything, raise the volume of the guitars cause all i hear is ezdrummer :P

These are just tips, i like the song!

  • Too much man!!!. simple is better, im all for double kick but NOT THAT MUCH!!!!!....And the time signatures well im pretty sure 4/4 will do for this song

  • @kyuss789

haha thanks man. I love me some double bass (if you couldn't tell!) ;)

  • totally out of time!

  • Get guitar pro and try to make some tracks with that. Check my channel for some songs made w/ it.

  • not a bad idea, but the timing is bullshit!

  • @TheFruityLoopFactory

You're bullshit! jk, I'm an amateur, 100% noob to the software w.no percussion experience.

  • @jszekerj

Keep cool man, and please respect my meaning! :o

I didn't said, that this is shit, only that the timing is shit.

  • @jszekerj looool the guy is right tho.. maybe next time ya may want the guitar to actually FOLLOW the beat instead of doing something totally different XD

I loved it tho. Work on the timing. Maybe this helps: record a sketch. Then make a leadsheet so you know how to program the beat(s) and then record the guitar( again) and then edit whatever you want. And feel free with experimenting on all sorts of sounds (and/or effects) for both the drums and the guitar.

  • Nice off tempo....

  • can't.... follow....... along.....

  • @shredhappy101

    Try harder ;)

  • dude where is the timing??? sounds like 2 seprate songs...it just does not fit

  • @adamsen06

    Does to me, sorry.

  • you need drum rolls to bridge the parts that are off other than that great melody on drums

  • Yeah, I think you're right. That's a great idea.

  • Sick drums dude. EZ Drummer FTW! :D

  • Thanks bro

  • Sounds a bit off at times, but sounds pretty good all around.

  • Thanks man. I'm working on gettin better.

  • Yeah dude screw these negative kids! Goodjob man!

  • Everyone has their own tastes, this took a liking to his, who are we to say he's wrong for it?

  • Comment removed

  • i kinda like it the double bass doesnt bother me at all

  • this shit sucks

  • So does Slipkock.

  • it sounds all fuckin wiggled out of place

  • doesn't fit at all

  • You don't fit at all.

  • I like the idea behind the stuff at about 0:25, but yeah the double bass around 0:58 is a wee bit over the top Sir :P

  • awful...

  • find a drummer lol

  • itsgood but your not 100% in the same tempo. and when the guiatr is slow you play fast. and when you play fast the guitar is slow.

and that double bass at 0:48 no offense but that just F*cked up

im not saying i can do beter but im sure you can do beter than this

loose from some things... good job

  • Not bad for a second try (considering the other vid was your first lol) but you may want to consider that even in forms of black/death metal (which this is melodic) you can use silence as a great tool for buildup. So have a couple sections where you have just a hat going or something... you get the idea. Also, the kicks don't need to be that fast in most of the parts where you put them. Some of them just don't seem to fit with the time changes the rythm and lead are making.

  • the time signatures between both beats are all different

  • What do you think this is? I'm learning. First go ever with the prog. Thanks for the comment tho. I thought it turned out good considering I made this immediately after installing the program.

  • Did you use* Lol!

  • try finding someone to do that in real life tho

  • Entirely possible. Gonna say you don't listen to the same bands I do.

  • some of it was bad,b ut ob the other side i loved some of it, keep on working with it!

  • its not his fault. chromecelica even said that he didnt use a metronome so a lot of the stuff was off

  • Yeah, but he's using an _ENTIRELY_ different tempo in this one. Besides the drums are way too loud.

  • yea your right. i dont think there was ever a spot where he was totally on tempo

  • I disagree. I think a lot of parts sound good. But I do agree some sections are quite off. Again, tho, this is my first time Ever using this program. Plus, I don't play the drums.

  • @jszekerj sorry dude but you were really off if you listen closely. better luck next time

  • you should practice more learning how to program drums. Half of the riffs dont even have snare! lol, good start though

  • Thanks. Yea, this was pretty much my first go and I never used it the program before. I've been practicin a bit.

  • @jszekerj

Did you used your computer keyboard to create the drum beats?

  • No. There is a huge bank of rhythms and drum sections. Then you can view each section and add or subtract any piece of the drum kit wherever you like. It's pretty much limitless.

  • @jszekerj

Alright, Thank you so much :)

  • No problem! Thanks for the comment!

  • completely off time lol

  • lol

  • Sorry but the beginning doesn't fit jn with the guitar.

  • awesome software

  • any good ones

  • first off i love the drum pattern from 2:35 to 2:43 but other then that drumming is completely sloppy and your guitar part is fuckin good love all the harmonies between rythem and lead but my only suggestion on the guitar parts is speed the tempo up about 20 to 30 bpm and it would sound sweet....also im about to start a industrialized style medodeath band with alot of synth and i was wondering on any tips you have for commin up with riffs cuz ur riff vids kick ass and i can nevr come up with

  • I only made the drum track for this. Ask the dude who made the guitar track: ChromeCelica00.

  • its not real drumming hes using ez drummer

  • some parts are still alittle off, but this is better :D

i like it at around 0:40 XD

  • Yea, some parts are catchy to me. I have this song in my head at work sometimes. I like 1:27 and the rest after 2:02 till the end. :P It's always in my head.

  • lol
