It's fufu w/ gumbo. The gumbo seems very basic maybe due to the lack of variety in spices, meat...etc. I'm 1/2 Cameroonian and I was honestly offended at the way he vulgarly dismissed the food in English; and then speaks broken French w/ a weird accent, to then communicate in a much nicer manner to the people. Not cool! You can say that it does not appeal to your tastebuds rather than saying it's disgusting. It looks slimy but when well-prepared gumbo & fufu is friggin' delish!
he needs to stop frontin in this video. africans can cook good as hell. they are excellent cooks. i have my favorite regional foods, but it's all good to me. i never ate an authentic african dish and found it to be nasty. they take pride in making sure the food is the best you ever had. i can't wait til my trip.
@iroc31407 I have been to many black african countries, including that my girlfriend is from Cameroon. Some parts of their food culture is terrible. All black African countries are poor and so are most blacks. They eat what they can get. Today in west Africa, Plaintain, Yams and other stable products have been replaced by imported Pasta and Rice. African food is not bad, but its difficult to develop a French kitchen, when you are poor. One popular thingin West Africa is Poof Poof.

Excellent man! I really enjoyed this gift bro. As a traveller( never to Africa) a foodie and a culture nut, I would have loved to sat next to you and chow down with these beautiful people. Most people don't understand the enormous honor and gift it is to eat a special meal in a country where food is scarce. Thanks again, I really loved watching.
Well there is more whites on wellfare in America. Whites make up more than 180 million of the 300 million population. What is funny about that is blacks are 35 % of those wellfare recipients. A minority of 12 % makes up 35% of all wellfare recipients

im sorry, but the okra looks gross to me. im from cameroon....
but the greenish boogery color of the okra is sometimes covered up with peanut butter or egusi.....it looks less nasty that way
