Connie francis is so blessed to have that terrific voice and so talented to sing in many languages...I lived and worked in Japan for two years and so i love to hear this kind of song in Nippongo...This one of my fav.song by Connie...I am a Filpino & one of millions ...fan of the best singer CONNIE FRANCIS.
I had a record of Connie's hits in Japanese for years, but it was stolen. Thank you for this treat. Connie must have been some kind of genius to even attempt this. I played it for a native Japanese speaker decades ago, and he was amazed at how accurate her pronunciation was.
@mandryka2007 Many vocalists are excellent at singing in other languages without even knowing what they are saying. Also, often being singers helps them to pronounce properly words in any languages other than their mother tongue. Ritchie Vallen sang La Bamba and he did not even speak Spanish. I know he was of hispanic origin, but he just learned how to say the words properly and it sounded like he spoke spanish all his life.
it's perfect Japanese mostly!
