from Jose' Sepulveda, the Hermeterec..........maybe you oughta go back to school.......or maybe I should. I went to Catholic schools all my life and the sisters insisted that Harry S. Truman was the 33rd president and that Dwight David Eisenhower was the 34th! I don't know....now I am beginning to question EVERYTHING they taught me....my word! I certainly hope SOME of it is right!!!
Eisenhower's administration was indeed a bright chapter in the glorious & continuing story of America's presidents! He cut taxes, balanced the federal budget, initiated the interstate highway system, supported the civil rights movement, & fought the Cold War abroad. In a quiet but firm way, he presided over prosperity at home while protecting us from the threat of communism. Who doesn't like Ike? Cold-blooded liberals.
@heb1114 America's income tax was at its highest ever in the 1950s. Nice try. Please don't regurgitate current Republican talking points as a substituting for actually having any knowledge of things.
As a "cold-blooded liberal," I'll agree with you on everything else ;). One of America's most capable presidents!
@blueside714 He was the 33rd person to be president, but it was the 34th presidency. Grover Clevland served 2 times non consecutive messing up the order.

A partner with the Zion Russian because he was part Zion. You Tube Eisenhower's death camps and google U.S. war crimes in WWII and learn of his involvement and hatred for the German and his link with part Zion Roosevelt,Part Zion Stalin and Morgenthau. This was the greatest conspiracy the world has known and the largest hoax placed in the world's mind for decades, that it is unlawful for u to even investigate the "Holocaust" event in parts of Europa should open any rational mind as to why.
In my opinion a total arse.......We havnt forgotten how he threatened to liquidate our currency when we and Francw were tackling problems in egypt, as if it was any of his business! the suez crisis was a display of this bastards nature
Eisenhower was not the supreme commander of the allied armies at the end of the war I am afraid. Eisenhower handed supreme command over to Wilson then he handed it to Alexander. Alexander was in charge when Hitler surrendered and HE accepted the surrender. However Eisenhower was a brilliantly talented man.
I am eisenhowers Great Grandson. I am not impressed and my family for what you said about him. He did the right thing. The nazi's killed over million allies
Eisenhower was a war criminal and mass murderer. He was USA´s own Himler. (About 1 million german pows simply disappeared on USA´s german POW camps where living conditions were much worse than on any german concentration camp. He did not respect international POW agreenments. Eisenhower was a man without any kind of military honour, ruthless bastard only)
Well, this is U tub, so it doesn't matter if I write propperly, and besides that it's quite clear I know much more about einsenhowers history and WWII than you! So, Fuck you too buddy! =^_^=
In 1953 Eisenhower opened relations with Spain under Fascist leader Francisco Franco. Despite its undemocratic nature, Spain's strategic position in light of the Cold War and Anti-Communist position led Eisenhower to build a trade and military alliance with the Spanish through the Pact of Madrid, ultimately bringing an end to Spain's isolation after World War II, and bringing about the Spanish Miracle.
Eisenhower believed that a free enterprise economy should run itself, and he took little interest in domestic policy. While his 1952 landslide gave the Republicans control of both houses of the Congress, Eisenhower believed that taxes could not be cut until the budget was balanced. "We cannot afford to reduce taxes, and reduce income," he said, "until we have in sight a program of expenditure that shows that the factors of income and outgo will be balanced."
are you fully aware of him deliberately allowing communism into central and eastern europe? are you aware of the dresden bombings? are you aware of the eisenhower death camps where he kills millions of prisoners? are you aware of operation keelwauch where he sent 1.5 million anti-communist refugees at bayonet point to the soviet union to be murdered in stalin's gulags? are you aware of the assassination of patton? are you aware that he deliberately caused mc arthur to lose the korean war?
Well, you may think your dealing with some one who hates to be proven wrong, but that's not the case. I have heard and read of the bombing of Dresden. and I have heard of Operation Keelwauch. I have not however heard of any "death camps" of any kind on Eisenhower's part, and I understand that there have been wrong doings in his time as a general & as a president. the assassination of patton I had never heard of in my life, and I thank you for that. so, I suppose I was wrong then?
well, to say that other dictators in history are wrong for things that they do, but when it is leaders from your country doing the same thing, i notice that most people won't accept the negative stories of their nation.
i know seeing as he is my relative that they spoke fluent german sometimes, and to clear this up. it wasnt a war against germany it was a war against gthe nazis

I have heard some say....he fu*ked dead chickens in his sleep, which I have also heard some say is indicative of Jewish ancestory. Now, whether he slept or not is a different story. His Jewish ancestory is not.His ancestory is clearly documented, and there exists clear evidence of him in close proximity of fowl. You will never see him in a period photograph, however, sleeping with a pig.
It didn't matter at all to him. He served in WW1 as well, but saw no action and from their, he climbed the ladder to Supreme Commander. What his ancestors were doing was morally wrong, and fighting for your country to keep the freedoms you have; prevails. Think of what's right and what's wrong. You make an oath to serve your country and that's more important when you join the armed forces. If not, then don't join the military. Simple as that.
Because his ancestors came from Germany. That's how the U.S started was by immigrants from counries such as: Ireland, Germany, Great Britain, Netherlands, and France. They all came to this country for a better life and the freedoms we have. I'll cut you some slack since you're not from the United States.
Oh don't worry they actually teach us more US history here in Australia than our own lol. I'm very familiar with that, my apologies I should rephrase the question: Why would he fight the nation that his ancestors were from? If they were there to see it they would disown him!, loyalty to your ethnicity/race/heritage is just as important as to a nation state. Like i'm AUS, but with GER blood too, if AUS went to war with GER I could not fight with a clear conscience(and i'm in the Army).
but the lifestyle of the usa is very diff then from any country, What i think is if you grow up in the usa you become a diff person and USE YOUR HEAD in a better mentally way

Eisenhower was the 34th President, but he was also the 33rd person to be president.
Grover Cleveland served as the 22nd and 24th President.
While we currently have 44 Presidents, only 43 different people have had the role.
How hard is that to understand...?
