  • What's the Price?

  • I just bought my Canon T3i not too long ago and I was wondering if you or anyone can send me a link to a very great memory card for the camera for HD videos and picture etc.

  • depends what you wanna film if you respect the revolving screen eg i film skateboard so its kind of a must have

  • Guys, I noticed that I can take a picture on t3i while recording movie only when digital zoom is off. But when the digital zoom is on, I`m not able to take a photo when I press the shutter button. Is this only on my t3i or on all of them? The camera manual does`t detail this out specifically and simply says that 'the still picture can be taken while shooting a movie by pressing the shutter button completely'. Please let me know. Thanks!

  • i just learned something about my camera i have zoom bitches

  • YES WHAT CAMERA DID YOU USE TO RECORD YOURSELF.....?

  • Don't buy the Canon T3i for video! The Canon T3i and other models have a problem with the automatic gain control that causes a persistent hiss in the audio whether or not you use an external mic. There is third party firmware that can fix the problem, but it's not without risk and will void the warranty. I really wish I had figured this out sooner so I could send mine back.

  • Is the 50mm 1.8 better than the sigma 30mm 1.8?

  • Should I get this or wait for the T4i? I have never used a DSLR and I probably won't use 90% of the features that come with this. Or the T2i? Its cheaper... I have no clue lol

    Kundenrezensionen:

  • what camera did you record yourself on???

  • You're very cute.

(I think am going to buy that camera next week, too.)

  • holy god, hes hot

  • nice review! check out my t3i test

  • I think the LCD screen is worth it. If you create tutorial videos such as cooking videos, vlogs, etc...you can flip the LCD screen to face you while the camera is pointing at the object and you can see if you're within the camera's frame. One thing I hate is when I'm recording something and when going back to editing, I see that the object I was recording was out of frame the entire time. So the flip LCD has really helped. Such a small little thing makes a huge amount of a difference.

  • sounds good. save the extra money to get 550d then buy a new lens when you get really good.

  • i feel bad for the usa buyers because the rebel logo and associated graphics on the box make this look like a cheapo camera. the european packaging and lack of rebel logos make it look a lot better

  • LOL!! WHAT!!! you have got to be kidding! what a strange thing to even bother commenting on! what possible difference could that make?

  • @sixaxle it is pretty random but ii just feels more like a box for a toy than for a camera in the states.

  • @harrowrudeboy I bought this camera from a Japanese importer for about 60% less than retail, and it says Kiss X5 on it! But I don't care, I didn't buy this camera so that I could show it off.

  • DON'T SPOIL THE HIGH DEF. WITH YOUR UNDERSHIRT DUDE! Too casual for such great setting!!

    Good video though!

  • Just did a dance video using the canon t3i and a tamron 17-50 mm lense! no editing to the raw footage!! great investment. Check it out! More videos to come, stay tuned! -Down2Earth Films

  • @D2EFilms Nice lense.

  • What camera are you using to film this. The quality is amazing.

  • I just ordered my T2i today. I'll be shooting the second season of "Action Filmmaking" with it.

  • Your video quality is amazing. What were you using to film that?

  • of course he's married dang

  • What SD card would you most recommend for this camera?

  • @JZimProductions Class 10

  • Are you using a shotgun mic? Your audio is great and I just purchased a t3i....do I have to master the manual modes for video shooting or is it pretty simple?

  • hey, i got this camera, can only import through iPhoto, its grainy as hell. how did you get that look to the video? also i can't get the blurry/hollywood background effect with my 18-55 lens ? please help ;)

  • @1amb1 A complicated question... For more blur, lower the aperture value. Also, iPhoto has a tendency to import in what it calls "Large Format" Which is the same as standard definition. Look into the setting and change import format to something that maintains original quality. Hope that helps! :)

  • I hope your next tutorials will be for 600D

  • what do you used to edit your videos? cause i just got the t3i 7 planning to used that camera for my youtube channel. thanks

  • I don't get it. Could someone please tell me what's the difference with the rebel t3i and the eos 600d? Thanks!

  • @cincincincin It's the same thing. Just a European version. T1i = 500D, T2i = 550D, T3i = 600D, etc..

  • @GriffinHelpers There is also a japanese name for each... Kiss X3/X4/X5

  • did you shoot this same video with the camera

  • Nice review Thanks !

  • @neumannfilms hahah ooh okay, i wanna buy the T3i but still wanna do all the things you do in your other tutorials. Thats possible right? You kinda rock and stuff

  • why you never use the T3i in your other videos?

  • @pfzh I sold it...ha ha

  • @Neumannfilms and why did you sell it :(

  • Hi, I just got my DSLR last Nov 20. I filmed small videos with it and already took about more than 200 photos with it. But when I was filming a video last Nov. 21, it was already about 5 minutes long, my camera shut off,. I thought it ran out of battery because i was trying to turn it on, and it won't turn on.. I charged the battery and placed it back on my camera.. it still won't turn on. AND I can't see through my view finder .. Ugh, HELP??

  • @jeLahxo I would send it back to Canon.

  • @Neumannfilms is it worthbying no or wait till 2012? ive seen some new canons with the digic 5 now, t3i is only digic 4 no?

  • @jeLahxo This is a sign from a higher power that you should not take any more photos. Ever.

  • wat was this video shot with

  • @hezeleo t2i

  • I got the T3i. and it's cheap

  • @jeLahxo T2i's better.

  • @Neumannfilms yeah they are practically the same except for swivel screen

  • what was the actual video filmed with?

  • Here in Singapore there is only a 100S$ difference between the T2i and the T3i...1 US$~1.27S$

  • Congratulations on your videos amazing

  • walmart dot com has the T3i for $829.00 and the T2i for $799 - $30 for a swivel screen, no brainer

  • @terencehood Yeah, this review is bound to become a little irrelevant since it was filmed when the T3i was released.

  • @terencehood best buy has it for a bit less than that even

  • for this video, did u use the t3i for video recording?

  • i have a question im a upcoming filmaker u think this is a good camera to make short movies? thanks

  • @ivankillz36 SLR's are pretty good, but the cam alone probably won't be enough, but you can get several accessories to make them pretty damn good. First thing would be an external mic, from there you can decide if you want anything else. I know they make grips and stuff for them to make it more like holding a larger cam, and also stuff you help pull focus if you are having trouble using the ring.

  • @forrest225 WRONG, first thing to buy is a great SDHC flash memory card...lens doesnt mean shit if you have a cheap ass flash card... T3i requires damned near a pro grade flash memory card to take advantage of full hd recording.... if you buy a cheap ass flash card you will disappointed when your camera gives you message "Recording has stopped automatically" ... before you buy anything for a dslr you need to buy a great SDHC flash card. $55,000 lens means nothing if the card fails

  • @daleonz Sorry you weren't smart enough to buy a decent card, it doesn't make me wrong.

  • @forrest225 ...you are still wrong, idiot... you are right, I dont have and did not buy a decent card - I bought and excellent card = Sandisk 32 gb, Extreme Pro, 95mb/s... moron

  • well with the rotating screen u could have a rotating viewfinder! :D

  • so fn retarded "hmmm get the t2i an then sale it an then upgrade an buy the t3i hmmm " yyyyy in th fuk would you do that

  • @JPLUDE93 yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy not?

  • @Neumannfilms

Hmmmm maybe cus the fact that he said its the same camera(well "similar") as the t3i but with more better upgrades hahaha

isn't that a good enough reason ...lol

  • @Neumannfilms

which camera and lens.. used.. for this video?

  • @JPLUDE93 he means if u already owned the t2i..

  • @JPLUDE93 Lul wat? He said if you own a T2i then you might want to upgrade... He didn't say buy a T2i for a little while then get a T3i? lol

  • what camera you used for recording this review

  • its an 80 dollar difference

  • Would you happen to know why when i record, in 24fps, at about 10-11 minutes a notification pops up saying, "movie automatically stopped recording", something like that and i'm using a Transcend 32gb class 10 card..?

  • @NicoleTiana it can only record that length of continuous footage, that card can hold alot more separate clips

  • @NicoleTiana It's normal on this camera. No way around it.

  • @NicoleTiana DSLR's over heat during video recording. They stop automatically to prevent internal damage.

  • @NicoleTiana ...Yeah because transcend is a cheap card. Get the Sandisk Extreme Pro class 10 card directly from thier website for about $299 for 32gb... or you can stick with your walmart transcend card and off load every 10 minutes

  • So what you're trying to say is...if I want to get into videography, I should get the T2i first, learn the features then sell it on craigslist and then get the T3i? haahaa

  • ok another question y camera stabilizer is an option? y they do not just create a camera with stabilizer i mean do you lose some visual qualitiy while u activate it?

  • @Piratepiracy its very useful for extreme telephotos.

  • pardon my ignorance but im new into professional cameras but is t3i and eos 600d is the samething?

  • @Piratepiracy Nonsense! Legit question. Yeah, the 600D is just the European version of the camera.

  • @Neumannfilms is there some better specs between them?

  • @Piratepiracy Framerates and the name is about it. We have 24p and 60 fps. They have 25p and 50.

  • @Neumannfilms alright! good news for us europeans then, thanks mate keep it up

  • @Neumannfilms I would like to also say that, while you are true, you can change the frame rates inside the camera settings through the menu.

  • @sayrith Yeah, isn't that what I said?

  • @Neumannfilms I would like to clarify, the 600D is the European NAME. The T3i and 600D are the names of the exact same camera.

  • @sayrith Right, that's what I meant.

  • I see you have the Plastic Fantastic On there :P

  • @jungmaeng I would go to war with that lens by my side.

  • @Neumannfilms Oh! Really Now :P Haha But I would Pay a bit more for a 50MM f/1.4

  • @jungmaeng Yeah...I have never even used one of those. Too busy buying other toys for film.

  • The T3i looks slightly more beefy than the T2i on the left side, im guessing this is just because of the addition of the new screen but is there actually a difference in size?

    Great review btw :)

  • id rather buy you than this camera. LOL your cute

  • @KristelPinx hes married lol.

  • Comment removed

  • I have been comparing the t2i and the t3i for a couple of days. I like the t3i a little more. I went into a photography store and they said I can get a t3i for around 900+ Which is a fair price and is only 100 more than the t2i somewhere else.

  • what can i say... Excelent review, as all your videos Luke

  • If you go to the difference in price(for buying the body only) is only about 80 dollars. which i believe the canon t3i would be worth it at that point. So if your looking forward to the adjustable lcd screen then i suggest the t3i at b&hphotovideo(dot)com

  • @ImJustAnX Nikons suck u have to spend more money to get the same quality of a canon

  • Thankss help me out alot.

  • @ImJustAnX - I guess the reviewers are just too stupid 'eh? Seems they like this camera just fine.

  • the camera that was used to make this video was the canon

    t3i? what then?

  • How do you manually change F-Stop with the Canon T3i in movie mode?

  • How do I turn off the magnified view box on the Canon T3i/600D in the shooting mode (the little white box in the center of the screen). Is there anyway to turn it off?

  • What was used to make THIS video?

  • did anyone else see the cat in the window at 0:11 ?

  • @CrimsonRGU yeah lol and he came back at 3:24

  • @SuckkerFree215 hahhaha, how funny

  • Why does this video look so good? How did you edit it?

  • i dont like that lens at all

  • @ImJustAnX canon got more mp

  • Good Review, thanks, I bought the T3i

  • Witch One Is Best Canon T2i Or T3i???

  • The Sony NEX-VG10 is around $1500 to $2000.

The Cannon 7D is around $1400 to $1650.

The Nikon D7000 is around $2000.

    Which is best ?!?

(These are my 3 favorite cameras from these 3 companies.)

  • whats the difference between the t3 and the t3i?

  • @NoDontBugMe t3 only has 12 megapixels and records in 720p

  • Hey I got a Nikon d3100 but Im contemplating on buying this t3i do you think it would be a better choice

  • they are the same price on canons site.

  • @ImJustAnX ... I think the Nikon AF point is a little off. I find that Canon has the better AF system for sports while Nikon is better in lower light situations.

  • It's worth it for flash control maybe. I kinda like that feature.

  • What did you film with

  • what is the name of the lens you got on the camera that you're using for display?

  • @ImJustAnX Um. No.

  • @CanonHater Yeah, your opinion pulls a TON of weight here. (trying to contain laughter)

  • @Neumannfilms Its funny because CanonHater is an "experienced amateur photographer" We should listen to him and his "experienced amateur" Lmfao

  • @moonshadowstudios "experienced amateur advice"*

  • oh someone answered already :D my bad !

  • what is the camera your recording this video ? :)

  • You look like the main guy from the Uncharted video game for Ps3

  • What is "a zoom function in video mode"? Can't you just twist the lens to zoom while taking a video? I am confused.

I am using XSi so i have no idea with the video mode...

  • @smtwtfsyy digital zoom.

  • Comment removed

  • How can i zoom with magic lantern on a 550d? THANKS!

  • @daveagl i mean not the x5x10 for right focusing, the magic lantern digital zoom!.

  • Im so confused on to what to get, and do you know if the t3i can easily import to final cut express?

  • wtf was in the window right in the beginning? lol

  • Hey man! Just subscribed to your channel! Awesome stuff! Wanted to ask you a question: I just purchased a T3i and want to get a good, affordable slider. What would you suggest and where should I look for it? Thanks! I appreciate it.

  • May i ask what is a "slider"?

  • what was this video filmed with??

  • Does anyone know where I can get a T2i camera for a low price?

  • Great video man! I'm a rapper/producer and I was looking at the T2i and T3i yesterday at Best Buy. I could barley notice a difference. I want the T2i to shoot music videos. Thank you!

  • What camera should i buy the T2i or the T3i?

  • Thanks for this video. Which slider do you recommend?

  • Don't forget that for those who enjoy taking videos, that flip out screen is a HUGE advantage. You can pop it out and turn it around so you can look exactly at where you're centered when taking videos. Don't forget that the best video quality cameras have been coming form these DSLR cameras - more than those shitty handycam camcorder cameras. An extra 200$ but for those taking videos it's really worth it

  • Did you use Sony Vegas? If so.. How the hell did you import the files into it?

  • So much energy and enth...us...i.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

    Jokes :)

  • Is the video quality the same for t3i compared to the t2i? The camera you're recording with has amazing quality!

  • @RicherFilmz It's the exact same as far as video quality.

  • @Neumannfilms I disagree....in my experience, the T3i is slightly better. :)

  • @ujwalaraj Sure it is, not $200 though.

  • @Neumannfilms hey with what cam was that vid recorded?

  • what camera you use to shoot this vid?

  • People should get whatever then need/want. some might like the extra 200, some might like the screen, audio, zoom, etc. my opinion, id get the t3i

  • @sumkid101 Yeah, I really just did the review off of what I would personally want/need. I personally sent the T3i back because I didn't think it was enough of an improvement to spend $200 on.

  • @Neumannfilms PLus, if you already have the T2i, than upgrading is somewhat pointless. This will be my first DSLR (even though i have tons of experience with them) & I really am into Film making. So i really like the screen, audio & zoom.

  • @Neumannfilms very nice review btw :D

  • manual audio levels, flip out screen, and the zoom function are totally unequivocally worth the meager $200.

c'mon dude. $200 on a lens??? or the ubiquitous over used slider???

  • @tahoeclimber Manual Audio levels - Magic Lantern, Zoom Function - Magic Lantern, Flip out screen...maybe, but not worth $200. A slider is WAYYYYYYYYYYY more essential than a flip out screen.

  • @Neumannfilms As you must know magic lantern requires that that it be uploaded to an SD card at all times. Not that rad. If you've got a slider and a T2i like I do, you have to get on your belly to see what your shooting, not that rad. Same goes for using a steadicam, overhead shooting and self shooting. Having the HD zoom function and not having to buy expensive telephoto lenses, priceless! (christ, have you seen how many people are using sliders now?)

    Yay, I win.

  • @tahoeclimber My review...I say it's not worth it. "Yay I win" Uh oh.

  • Can I ask what kind of lighting setup you have in this review?

  • Hi, it´s important to clear the follows: I´ve a T2i and I used to film a lot, I recognize a BUG in the camara, the T2i over 20 minutes of film sessions begin to OVERHEAT. Will be nice for me if you passed this test b/c I want to buy another camera, may be the t3i but I want to see fixed that problem. I´m using SDCARD Class 10. Thanks in Advance !!
