  • Jeez! The volume nob control right before 6 min! Holy smokes, man! That's freaking hard with a pedal. To do that, that fast, get all the swells AND the notes.... Beautiful. Are they still together? Do they tour the States?

    Camel... j'adore!!!

musica senza tempo, e se siamo in pochi ad apprezzarla, meglio cosi'; tanto loro hanno avuto benefici economici a sufficienza e noi possiamo dire di appartenere a una schiera di eletti....

  • Why the heck do people listen to crappy commercial pop that is so bad that it would be a shame if I mentioned here, when there is such a vast epic piece! I love camel!

  • Went to this tour gig in the Astoria Theatre, London in '97. Awesome drumming from young Dave Stewart from about 2:22 onwards - almost up to Phil Collins' standard. Hope we hear something new from Andy Latimer & Co in the not-too-distant future.

  • Very amazing, I would say :-)

  • A CLASSIC ELECTRIC GUITAR SOLO that RIVALS PINK FLOYD & Santana

  • The ending on this track startled me. There I was listening to Andy Latimer, who has an unmistakable style and technique all his own and all of a sudden along comes this blazing finish that is pure Steve Hackett (from his "Voyage of the Accolyte" period) . I had to squint into the darkness at the back of the stage to convince myself that they hadn't stashed him somewhere back there.

  • zo nicee!

  • Wow! Real progressive music!

  • Was at the Glasgow gig on this tour. Dave Stewart had the R, O and D blanked off on his keyboard,. C had been added to make it read "Clan" Nice one Dave!

  • ... :O

  • QUE CHINGONERIA DE LATIMER EL MEJOR

  • exactly Genius

    The best Progressive

  • I wish you all the best Latimer for your health. keep on playing your guitar forever

  • 5:00 to 6:00 is amazing

  • You're wrong.

    0:00 to 7:43 is amazing

  • @vernadoon

Agreed, Andy's use of the volume knob to make this sound is incredible. (Van Halen used it on "Cathedral".) Also, check out the "West Berlin" live track from '84, I think he uses this technique even better on that track.

  • Yes RockArtLove, breathtaking & brilliant. Andy Latimer is peerless. And since you are just learning this genre, you will hear many more prog classics. An amazing and beautiful journey awaits you.

  • Overwhelmingly Breathtaking, Amazingly Brilliant! This Lady Proger is still learning this music's art form but, I realize I have been shown the Best Of Symphonic Progressive Rock Classics!

  • great, great, great!

  • amazing...

  • Genius. It's just fucking brilliant and Andy's a god!

  • Love Camel...

  • Words can't describe. Its just brilliant.

  • whos on drums

  • It doesn't really matter 'cause this is one of the most talented guitarists in the world...

Since the 70:s, he's been miles aheads of van Halen, and many....

They are all there, aren'nt they...

  • Dave Stewart is on drums. Andy (or Andrew) Latimer plays the guitar, Colin Bass plays the bass and Foss Patterson the keyboards. Dave Stewart is amazing, but you should also check out Camel's first drummer: Andy Ward. He was in the band from 1971-1981.

  • Dave Stewart...an Irishman

  • wow.. I wasn't sure I had this one in on video...

on vhs maybe...love Dust and Dreams..thanks for posting

  • Ed, this is not from Dust and Dreams! This is from Harbour of Tears!! You can buy the DVD on CamelProductions, WELL worth the money.

  • Hey CaU2,

    My mistake...you dont miss a thing..thanks

  • best music ever!

No response will change my mind...

it's even missing the guitar harmonies!!!

    But still amazing

I love the drum section in the middle =)

    Awesome groove

  • Gotta get this DVD!

  • Love Camel. Saw them at the NEC (uk) in '84. Had me in tears. Andy Latimer is one of my favorite guitarists, and been a great inspiration. Also, thanks to U Tubers out there for posting these Camel gems.

  • I think this is camels official channel.

  • only 1857 views?? wtf?? one of the best songs ever made

  • 2380 now.;)

  • @dirtyharry07: It's finally getting some! 9066!

  • True, only FZ could be "better", but we who "knows" will always "tell the truth"

    So this so GREAT!!!

  • This is classic guitar-driven, instrumental prog rock, and very well performed.

  • Ma come hanno fatto ad inventare un brano così emozionante!! Ogni volto che lo ascolto ho i brividi..

  • Thank you so much for posting this!!! I had almost given up hoping to find this on YouTube. Fantastic performance, Andy as strong as always.

  • thanks 4 sharing
