RS.. i thought was an impreza model, and the legacy has 2 different motors in it stock. a 2.2 and a 2.5 (which you dont want until after 2000 anyways because if you blow a timing belt you have to put in all new valves and redo your motor) The only SINGLE turbo subarus i know of are the STI's the XT's from back in the 80's.. and the new legacies with the 3.2L even the SVX which is their luxury sport is only a 3.3L no turbo
@darkz369 So right now i own a 1997 Subaru Legacy GT 2.5 n/a, does it have a timing belt issue?? and I heard that there was a euro/jdm spec version of the 94-97 legacy like this one.

i just got a 95 one in black, didn't realise they were so rare, i love it, its a jap import so its limited to 180km, but i think its fast enough! Lovely cruiser, pulls lovely in every gear, beautiful sound from the boxer, big saloon with 280bhp!! You get the best of both worlds, even your mother can't complain! just dont tell her how thirsty the thing is!! Still,...safe to say, i'm converted to subaru.
id go for both though i like my legacy im getting thursday. It's not like legacys have been around since 1990 you know born before the imprezas came to be in 93. Don't get me wrong i love all of subarus vehicles even the tribeca ^^
actually, i just blew my motor in my legacy and im putting an ej20tt into it. im going to convert it to single turbo though because it's a bitch to get the twin turbo to work in a rhd car.

actually wrx's are MUCH better (if you want performance). easier to find parts for, and if you get an Sti then that's around 300hp stock.

yeah, and if you can get your hands on an ej20tt from the late 90s, they have 280 hp stock... the sti didn't get 300 hp until 2004...

they were only ever put in RHD cars. won't fit in a LHD car due to pedal mabooferies getting in the way.
