army recruiter's will always say the Infantry is the best part of the army and lie to you silly to get you to join Infantry. Just telling you guys, i had to fight with the dude to let me apply for MP.
I hope I dont "become" a recruiter. My recruiter was going through a divorce when he was recruiting me and he didnt get to see his daughter on easter. They get in trouble for not recruiting enough for the month so they will do all they can to get recruits. Army needs a major overhaul in recruiting.
@JihadForJesus12 the young man who is a private is an 18x SF candidate.... he completed BCT. AIT. Airborne and SFAS and now is waiting until he gets his duty assignment to report to the Q course for SF and while he waits for his orders is a home town recruiter for now....

Today's U.S. Army is broken- relying on moral conduct waivers to maintain enlistment numbers while barracks fall into further disrepair, suicides skyrocket and stop-lossed troops see their fourth, fifth and sixth tours. Man, I would think it would be easy to sign up recruits in NYC. From what I understand, most New Yorkers stay in NY their whole lives. Why would you not want a chance to get out and see what the rest of the world has to offer? And like my man said, alot of people stay in the projects and say how they wish they could get out. She's got your ticket in her hand.

Air Force and Navy were both almost a year. The fastest was the Army but even that was at least 4-5months. The fastest ship times they had was for 18X and I told my boy don't sign that thing unless he's sure that's what he wants to do. Otherwise he's gonna be in for hell on earth.

Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody I know or have asked has any interest in joining. Whenever I am on any campus where recruiters are visiting, I rarely see anyone walking up to the table to talk to the men. The recruiters keep trying but the students refuse to go near them.
What if a group of Hollywood producers set up a table where they were recruiting students to become movie and television actors? How about dancers and models, too? Hell, the line at the table would be so long!
