  • Is it true you can do real time real physics liquids and fluids in flame in a way that will put Real Flow to shame?

  • for me ..i really want to learn flame, but it's hard when there's no equipment to practice bout it...because flame cannot running on PC or Mac...

  • Autodesk needs more training programhow to use Flame. New users don't have training, they will jump to Fusion or Nuke cause there are many third party trainings out there.

  • Users can get free online training videos for Flame, Inferno, Flare, Flint, Smoke and Lustre - autodesk (dot) com/ME_training. Autodesk also offers classroom-based and on-site training for artists of all levels. To find an Authorized Training Center near you, go to autodesk (dot) com, click on Services & Support, on the right hand side, select Locate a Training Center, select Quick-locator for all ATCs offering Training on Autodesk Smoke, Autodesk Flame and Autodesk Lustre Software. Voila!

  • @Autodeskarama why is Flame better than AE then? why would a studio prefer it rather than AE, which has Tons of trainings, and which is Very popular? just asking..

  • Flame can blow After Effects out of the water based on so many things. After effects isn't even a full 3D software... its considered 2.5D. Flame produces results at realtime for any project. Plus the features in it, even things as simple as a 3D camera tracker, are much more precise and powerful than anything After Effects can do.

  • sounds promising, mate :]

but..with all this power...unless u work for a studio that has a system like that [and u come with Zero experience] -its tough to learn it. im just imagining how its like spending all that time studying it, in your workplace and not in the comfort of ur home. making it less practical..or a choice only for the elite top artists.
