Okay, I'm all for saving sex for marriage if that's what you want. HOWEVER....don't be giving misinformation about the Pill or protection in general. Honestly, if four out of five doctors tell you you need to be on a certain medication, DO IT!

But the problem here is that the pill and contraception are not medically necessary. So when doctors "prescribe" it, they are promoting something based on the same mentality that has pushed abortion for "women's sake" (which you only have listen to people who've had abortions to realize is bogus).

When that happens, you have to admit you are not infallible, face your problems head on, be humble enough to get help, and change direction. That requires more strength and provides more happiness than denying you made a mistake.
@EhJayJC The definition of regret is to dwell on past mistakes and feel bad about them and think oh I should have did this I or that. But you can't cause time don't work like that. A strong person says fuck regret and moves on just as life does. You can learn from past mistakes and admit you did make them doesn't mean you should regret them.

@singastar77 Well, I wouldn't say always; but I can say from my own experience that often it's not a good sign of things. I've had some close friends date older guys and get seriously burned; one of them realized that she wanted to live out chastity, and a week later he had broken up with her. This really hurt her, but it was better than staying with a guy who didn't know how to authentically love. Cuz if you did, you should realize that no one is forcing anyone to get married, nor are they saying that people should get married for the sole purpose of being able to have sex. They are teaching kids that the sex's rightful place is within marriage and that it is part of a lifelong bond between husband and wife.

The problem is people like you who see sex as nothing and then wonder why their relationships fall apart. People who wait to have sex until marriage have a divorce rate that is 70% lower than those who don't wait until marriage and are 6 times as likely to be faithful in marriage.

I've had some close friends date older guys and get seriously burned; one of them realized that she wanted to live out chastity, and a week later he had broken up with her.
