Ive got a blackberry Bold 9700 and recently it got the white screen. i updated to the new OS and it started working for a lil bit then stopped and went all fuzzy. i tried the trick where you push down on the right hand corner and press lock and unlock and that worked for a lil bit but i have a feeling its making it worse. is there anything else i can do to fix this problem?

I've got a blackberry Curve, and i brought a green housing kit off ebay in mid 2011, around october 2011 i was on my blackberry before a school lesson, and put it in my pocket for the duration of the lesson, after that lesson i went to go on my phone and had a white screen, and been like it ever since, i'm trying to fix it now so would you know any ideas i coud use to try and fix my phone, many thanks

@AaronChaplin14 In those cases where the screen is white after it being taken from a pocket/bag it needs a new lcd screen, pressure on the outer lens tend to press down on the lcd and damage it.

Where abouts in Nottingham are you? I'm in notts and I have white screen thing. Called virgin said update OS6 to OS7 but wouldnt let me saying no updaates, its warrenty is void cause I changed the housing on it months ago so I've got to pay for them to fix but if I could get someone local to fix it that would be better.

Hi I have a BB bold 9700 and my screen has been white since yesterday morning. If i leave the battery out for a while then put it back in it works for 5 mins or so but no longer, iv tried switching it on with no battery in and screen is still white, any suggestions? thanks.

@suzl84 That sounds like it has an lcd problem, the only thing that can be done with that is trying a new lcd screen

everytime i turn on my blackberry curve 8520 the phone goes to a white screen but there arent any cracks or lines of any sort on the screen.i can still hear my phone go off whenever i get a text or a phone call too. is there anything i can do without having to send it off?

@TheNorthernMonkeyz White screens can be caused by battery faults, you coud try powering it without a battery or a new battery to see if that makes any difference.

my phone goes out of wack at times , it will work fine than after about a couple hours it'll go all white . i'll restart it and it'll stay white until i plug it into it's charger . any ideas as to how i can completely fix the problem ? it wasn't the battery .

I removed the battery of my Curve 9360 and placed it back in and for some reason it keeps rebooting continuously.

I've tried checking out videos and websites, but nothing really works. HELP.

Literally my screen is completely white. i reset my phone left it for abit, come back and turned it on and it is still white!
