Dear all, obviously English isn’t my first language but I have to say something about the Gary Moore and his version of "The Messiah Will Come Again" Roy Buchanan did great job and he was awesome but Gary made this song inhuman he made the guitar more Fluent than Shakespeare. It's seems that all the devils from the deepest place in hell participated in composing or modifying this song with him R.I.P him.

@MrJasonroy : I suppose this shows how personal and varied music can be experienced. For me looks, like, or dislike of a performer doesn't influence whether I like his/her music. I've noticed most musicians have overinflated antisocial ego's anyway because of their focus and conviction. And as for Gary's cover (and Tribute!) to Roy's song here; I think it is original (his own style); very different from Roy's, and fantastically passionate and played with unsurpassed technical talent.

Ya know, there's been a lot of really Iconic and Excellent guitarists throughout the history of contemporary music........Hendrix, Van Halen, etc. But I can only think of TWO who have ever played with such Heart and Emotion: Gary Moore and Steve Hackett.

@SnashNRoses You have to be hammering on and pulling off a few notes with your fretting hand as well, though. Any 2 note stretch works, but it's easier and sounds better pulling off to an open string ( A, D, and G are the most common open strings used ). Hope this helps...

@SnashNRoses Lightly touching the string and moving back and forth between the pickups. Doesn't necessarily have to be between the pickups, that just happens to be where he's doing it., but anywhere from the bridge to about the 12th fret will usually work. Extreme high volume and distortion is needed. EVH did it all the time, as did/does Satch and many other Rock/Metal guitarists. Check out Joe Satriani - Raspberry Jam Delta-V (Live in San Francisco) at 4:10 - 4:21 he does it in multiple spots.
