  • OK listen, I am PART swedish, I cant speak swedish but i can kind of under stand it. the swedish chef is speaking "MOCK SWEDISH" which is gibberish in reality, but to people who cant speak or understand swedish at all, it sounds pretty swedish to them. I think that all fellow swedes who know its not swedish, but still find the swedish chef funny are good sports... SWEDES 4EVER!!!!

  • @ridecostarica No, it's carrots. Bananas are not orange.

  • LOL

  • haha! priceless stuff! and I dont even know what hes saying! anyone got a translation?

  • @clown849 The song he's singing is "3000 Pounds of Bananas" by Harry Chapin. The specific part, from what I can tell is "Yes, we have no Bananas...we have no bananas today. Yes, we have no bananas...no bananas in Scranton, PA" XD

  • @clown849

    Not real swedish

  • Ja just ju! Tack :)

  • HAHAHAHAHAH! X'D

    LOVE this! x')

I'm swedish and I must say that this is the best parody of anything ever x')

  • I know this song!!!! This is obviously gibberish but there is an old song that goes with that melody.

Translated, its called They have no bananas today XD

  • @WingedNightmare

  • i think he says mick Jagger at one point ha ha ha

  • Yeah... The tomato at 1:11

  • I herd it too, so funny

  • I´m swedish, and i think many would agree with me, saying that we only think this is funny!

I mean talking about racism is just ridicolous..i like the swedish chef :D

  • Awesome stuff! back in the days when you could parody things and no one took offence. all ya whiners get off your politically correct sensitivity and enjoy it for what it is satire. The only racism is in your own heads.

  • @onedoomedspacemarine

Yeah, gotta be able to laugh at yourself.

  • @onedoomedspacemarine

That's what made Jim Hensen's stuff so great. He wasn't bothered by what some self-appointed experts might snootily call "good taste." Look at his early skits with monsters eating people. Today the parent focus groups would be appalled by that, but the kids back in the day weren't traumatized by skits like that. Quite the contrary, they loved it! I know this because I was one of them.

  • @4a8p9x i agree...and to think that the great minds of the future are stuck with "spongebob" and that kind of crap to look at because its "appropriate" for children. Well to think about it, past generations grew up on batman and spiderman and all those other "violent" comics and cartoons and things turned out fine but now they're looking at "non-violent" crap as stated above and the kids are turning to shit. Would someone save the kids?PLEASE? Have more shows like this...the muppets is a classic

  • @rafeekie There may be hope yet. There is a muppet movie coming out this fall in theaters.

  • @AlchemyAngelizBack YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!! Thank you u kind genius for doing that whoever u may be

  • it's gibberish done made to sound like swedish, caled a parody, heard of that?

  • most epic vegtable realted thing EVER

  • Almost sounds like it could be a real language.

    xD

  • Comment removed

  • I think it's fun to hear how you americans think our language sounds like.

But no, there is nothing swedish about this song, at all x'

  • We don't actually think that you sound like this. It is funny because it is ridiculous!

  • I don't mean that you think it's swedish, but maybe there's some recemblence to what you think it might sound like?

Because if it is'nt, what's the point :)

  • Generally, it is because we can't understand you. But the Muppets are just funny. It isn't supposed to be taken seriously.

  • Alright then, they came up with some jibberish and called it swedish without any recemblence to what you might think is our actual language.

But you don't have to tell me that the muppets are supposed to be funny, I think I got that in the first place.

  • no need to be defensive about it

  • No need to explain the obvious.

  • good grief!

  • @raprilc2 A-svernzy vernzy bork bork?

  • hahaha! :D

  • Aw the singing vegetables are so cute!

  • the tomato is made my mazda cuz it said miata.

  • @patchissues No you dont...

  • @patchissues NICE! You fail in your mother language! :D!

  • @patchissues You're lucky! I would kill to sound like that.

  • @patchissues :Seeing how most Swedes don't speak like that, is he any relation to you? If yes then you should consider starting a cooking show. I'd watch it ;) (Joking, Don't take me too serious lol ;))

  • @patchissues är du skåning? :D

  • @patchissues So you sound like a fucking moron?

  • holy cow ppl, ITS THE MUPPET SHOW!!!! its supposed to be funny quit analyzing it all!! Stop thinking so damn hard and laugh for a minute!

  • well said

(or in english Thaad is an asshole bigger than jupiter)

  • lmfao

  • they don't say a single word of swedish in the whole song :P

  • i think it's a dutch song, BECAUSE I AM FROM HOLLAND!

  • the fruit sounds polish LOL and i am dutch. the Swedish Chef sounds a little bit swedish and a lot of gibberisch to me.

  • its not polish but close ;) hehheh

  • Polish and Swedish are two totally different languages!

  • oooH shit! my fucking vegetables start singing to me I'd PISS MY PANTS! xD

  • IMO, there are some words from the swedish language.. the rest is just probably jibberish.

  • Why are the fruits singning like Deutsh or somethink? God I love him!

  • they actually sing words in Swedish and Norwegian too! xD I guess it's because the languages are very similar xD I love him too!

  • the sallad sings danish definetly and I think the rest sings Deutch but I didn't understand a word except for banana... But I don't speak deutch so....

In the cake vid there's a japanese cake XD I think he's actually saying something....

I think it's good that they make fun of us swedes 'cause we wouldn't be mad about it! It's like "OMG! He's trying to speak swedish!!!" or like " Cool! He mentioned Sweden! That's awesome!"

  • there is no german-language in this song

  • :( im a dane and I cant understand the sallad.

    Translate please? :P

  • No Dutch as far as I can tell. It's all made up I guess. Very nice though..

  • I just love how he throws random crap into the shopping cart. I'm soooo doing this next time I'm at the supermarket!

  • While you're doing that, try singing "Yes We Have No Bananas" in gibberish (Mock Swedish) & see how many strange looks you get!LMAO!

  • Well done Bork and the Singing Veggies & Fruits.

  • Arent those Marvin Suggs' singing foods?

  • This has to be the best rendition of the song I've ever heard.

  • No! This isn't swedish!:)

  • I know! That's the point!

  • I wonder if it's real swedish.
