@sk8dudejames not sure what the answer is to that but I have a hunch that your area isn't either set up to download data or the setting that you changed with this app isn't allowing you to receive data. Change it to gsm/CDMA and see what happens.

Its not bullshit if you have 3020-3025 prl and if you actually live in a metropcs home network such as Miami or Atlanta. Just put it on GSM/CDMA auto (prl) so it will automatically switch to 3g when in the area and back to 1x when not

Mine picks up 3G, the symbol shows up and everything, but when I try to load a page it doesnt load. I get web page error. 3G flashes the sending arrow but never the receiving arrow. I have 3023 prl... why doesn't it work then?

@carsjx i have an m835 and have 3g. make sure that you have 3020 or higher prl and if you set it on evdo only, you wont have service if their is no 3g in the area. What i find that works best is to put it on gsm/cdma auto (prl) so that it automaticaly switches to 3g when in a 3g area and switches back to 1x when not

Metro thinks they jumped ahead of everyone but just going to 4g. Not realizing that they have left about 95% of their customers behind with lame 1x. I dont see why they don't just add 3g, i don't know anyone that would want to pay 350 to get a 4g phone.

Ok thisll help if u are at somewhere like home or somewhere when u have wifi on then u turn it on ull have 3g no problem just turn it off when u leave the wifi spot

It gives u an x because some different states cities etc have different frequency towers so when u get that it means that ur cnnection with the towrs like metro or tmobile or ny other company isnt too high thats why and maybe tomorro ill post a video of the 3g speed and stuff for you nusy
