I wonder how long before the new ones look like the old ones ? I'm not a body man but I just done our own truck , each side has 2 inners and they weren't much better than the outer rockers . I went with stamped full length rockers and cab corners and had the inners made from 12 ga. coated steel . ALOT of work, especially for someone that doesn't do it all the time but now I have something that is stronger than factory and will last as long as we care to keep it and I barely needed any fill .
@kamikenzie you did it the rite way! These trucks I usually get are to just get dressed up for the auction..im sure they will hold up a year or two..but the way you did it is the best way! Should hold up well!
@pisserschannel Yea , it's alot of work though . I may have even under estimated what I was getting myself into . The box, fenders , hood and doors all off . I am still putting it back together , what a setup the doors have , my whole day today was spent (along with $50 for pins and bushings) adjusting non adjustable doors trying to achieve a better fit and in the end there was no improvement . Totally frustrating .

how many hours will you have into this truck? does the purchase of the choochasarus rex for 79.95 include the pre chooched antler? cigs are too expensive in new york for him to be choochin too! always gotta chooch before you fix shit or do anything really haha. friggin chevy looking good nice work
Pisser you are a friggen magician! Vehicles here in NY take quite a beating. First the bodies, then the frames, fuel tanks and brake lines rot out. It’s a never ending battle. Cars have gotten better. I remember when cars couldn’t make it past four years old before they would become totally dickered.
